ARSENAL have rejected an approach from a Premier League club for keeper Aaron Ramsdale as speculation grows about his future.
The Gunners shot-stopper, 25, started his first league game since the beginning of September on Saturday night as first-choice David Raya was ineligible to play against his parent club Brentford.
Ramsdale nearly made a couple of costly errors with his feet during the game, but ultimately kept a clean sheet as Arsenal claimed a 1-0 win.
However, there remain questions about a potential January move after comments from his dad, Nick, earlier this month in which he said his son had "lost that smile".
And Football London are now reporting an unnamed Premier League club have seen their approach for the keeper rejected.
Although the team was not named, it was confirmed it is a side in the bottom half of the table.

Ramsdale only signed a new contract with Arsenal back in May – which runs until 2026.
He has already been linked with a move to both Chelsea and Bayern Munich in the mid-season window.
He was brought in by Mikel Arteta from Sheffield United in 2021 for £30million.
But Raya's arrival has disrupted Ramsdale's development at the Emirates – with the Stoke-on-Trent-born keeper also continuing to play second fiddle to Jordan Pickford for England.

When asked about his performance against Brentford, Arteta said: "Courage. He has big courage and big personality and that’s why we love him."
But the quotes from Ramsdale's father two weeks ago were damning when it comes to his son's current mentality.
He said: "Aaron’s lost that smile to when he was holding on to that ball at this moment in time.
"And it is difficult. It really is difficult to see him there and we all keep saying you need to keep smiling.
"David Raya is a great goalkeeper and it is not his fault. He’s just come in as a goalkeeper.
"David Raya, Aaron says, he is a lovely guy and he works hard with him and Aaron’s trying to help him as much as he can to settle in with the squad.
"It’s possibly the way it's been done. Not knowing the reason why, and this is me because we don’t know why.
"Again, Aaron is working as hard as he can. He’s trying to do his best for the squad. He’s upbeat and he’ll do everything for Arsenal to try and win the league."
