CHELSEA are the leading contenders to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.
That's according to bookmakers Paddy Power, who have installed Frank Lampard and Co. as the 2/1 market leaders.

Chelsea were previously priced at 7/2 with the bookies, but that price has shortened as January draws nearer.
Arsenal, who are their biggest competitors for Rice's signature according to the bookies, are priced at 6/1.
But it's Manchester United who've seen the biggest odds shift.
The Red Devils were 14/1 last month but after recent reports, they are now the third favourites at 8/1.
The MEN claim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a massive fan of the 21-year-old and has targeted him to replace wantaway midfielder Paul Pogba.

Manchester City are next in the betting at 14/1 with Liverpool an even bigger price at 16/1.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: "Death, taxes, Manchester United being linked once again with Declan Rice.
"Though, this time, despite the links, they’re not in top spot to sign him – the leaders of that race currently are Chelsea, according to the odds."
The Blues tried to sign Rice over the summer but refused to meet West Ham's £73m valuation.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano sent the rumour mill spinning earlier this week when announcing that Rice wanted a Stamford Bridge switch.
Romano told the Here We Go Podcast: "Declan Rice is pushing to join Chelsea but Declan has been respectful to West Ham.
"Chelsea will have to complete the deal with West Ham. It’s very difficult to pay €80M in this situation."
