COOKE up a win in the November Handicap at Doncaster.

SAM COOKE looks a big improver on just his third run of the season. Ralph Beckett’s hope showed loads of promise when second at Ascot.

That was back in July but he’s been best when fresh and has the ideal draw for Town Moor.

Kingbrook is another coming here fresh after winning the red-hot Old Rowley Cup in a big field at Newmarket last month. He loves this trip and could be ahead of the handicapper.

Euchen Glen is having the season of his life and can’t be written off despite carting top weight.

Surrey Pride is another for the shortlist with capable claimer Ray Dawson taking off a valuable 3lb in such a tight race.

EUCHEN GLEN 4/5 Stars

LOOK at Euch. Having a cracking season with back-to-back Group 3 wins over this trip in soft ground. Struggled in this back in 2017 but is a different proposition now and could hit the frame despite his big weight.

RAYMOND TUSK 2

BLUNT Tusk. Group 2 winner at best but not won on turf for more than two years and needed his comeback from a long break at Newbury last time. Will improve on that but must turn back the clock.

GLENCADAM GLORY 3

GLORY hunter. Was a cracking second in the Ebor in August but below that twice since. Rider takes off a valuable 7lb and will like the ground but a bit further would be ideal.

ON TO VICTORY 3

ON it. Three good placed runs this season including over this trip at Ascot and York. Looks on a fair mark and Alan King does well in these big handicaps. Hasn’t won since 2017 which is a worry.

INDIANAPOLIS 2

CALL the Polis. Didn’t stay 2m in the Ces last time after a good effort at Haydock. Booking of Silvestre De Sousa a plus and has dropped to last winning mark. Needs a personal best to strike at this level.

SAM COOKE 5

COOKE’S tasty. Has had an interrupted career but has lots of ability as he showed when beaten on the nod at Ascot last time. Has had another break since then but loves this trip and looks well ahead of the handicapper. Trainer Ralph Beckett is ending the season well and he has an ideal high draw.

NOW CHILDREN 1

NOT Now. Has been jumping and having first Flat run in 18 months on the back of a poor chase effort at Bangor. Won a decent Goodwood handicap at best but has plenty to prove on first run for new yard.

RHYTHMIC INTENT 2

WEAK Intent. Landed a solid win at Newbury four runs ago but has been poor since including here last time. William Buick a good booking but still looks a little high in the weights.

DASH OF SPICE 3

LOTS of Dash. Put in best effort of the season when second over course and distance two weeks ago. Well weighted on his best form and could nick a place going from the front.

TORCELLO 3

TOR may score. Ended last season with three wins and came back from 11 months off to go close at Newbury over inadequate 1m2f 14 days ago. Up 5lb for that but should be fitter and solid each-way shout.

EVERYTHING FOR YOU 1

YOU what? Best Flat form has come over this trip and only 2lb higher than last winning mark. Showed little over hurdles last season and tough ask today coming back from 10 months off.

KINGBROOK 4

KING may reign. Landed deserved win in big field over this trip at Newmarket last time. Has gone up 6lb but should be capable of defying that. Likes the ground, has a good draw and should be right in the mix again.

AASHEQ 3

HOT Aash. Going close in lesser races and didn’t have much luck at Redcar last time when a close second. Looks on a fair mark and will be happier over this longer trip. Can improve on his midfield effort in this two years ago.

TULIP FIELDS 3

TULIP may bloom. Wasn’t up to Listed level at Lingfield latest but won a handicap over course and distance nicely before that from just 4lb lower. Likes cut in the ground and has more to offer.

NUITS ST GEORGES 2

BY Georges. Does most of his racing over further nowadays including when winning at Newmarket and Sandown this season. Below par on last two outings and looks a little short of this standard.

HIROSHIMA 2

NO Hiro. Landed solid staying win at Ayr and improved when second in good company here last time. Stamina will be an asset in these conditions but needs a little more as he creeps up the weights.

C’EST NO MOUR 2

NO to No. Has landed all his wins in lesser races including at Bath two runs ago. Didn’t enjoy the deep ground at Nottingham last time and needs a lot more upped to this level.

SURREY PRIDE 4

SURREY in hurry. Landed back-to-back wins at Newbury and Chester over shorter and shapes as though this longer distance will suit. Got stuck in the mud at Newmarket last time and looks capable of better with excellent claimer Ray Dawson taking off a valuable 3lb.

EAGLE COURT 3

EAGLE has wings. Has improved with every hike in trip this season including when powering home over 1m2f at Nottingham last time. Relishes lots of cut in the ground so more rain would help but looks capable of improving again.

STRAWBERRY ROCK 3

ROCK on. Had just four runs and ran out of petrol over 1m6f at York last time after a good Ripon win over this distance. Likes some cut in the ground and trainer Hugo Palmer is ending the season in good form.

BEECHWOOD JUDE 2

NAY Jude. In cracking form at lower levels and landed an easy win in the mud at Catterick last time. Stays well and more rain would help but this is his toughest challenge yet.

BOLLIN JOAN 2

JOAN groan. Game Catterick winner last time who saw out this distance well. Takes a fair hike in class here so needs to find plenty of improvement for in-form Tim Easterby.

BEN LILLY 2

LILLY silly. Has been in good form over further in minor company but winning streak ended at Newbury last time and has his sights raised again.
