Fans call Sky Sports' Steve Carrell F1 interview 'highlight of the Dutch GP' as he's left stunned by camera | The Sun

FORMULA ONE fans called Sky Sport’s interview with Steve Carrell the “highlight of the Dutch Grand Prix.”

That’s after the Hollywood star was left stunned by a close-up camera before the race.

Max Verstappen stormed to a record ninth successive victory in front of a jubilant home crowd on Sunday.

The Red Bull ace is closing in on yet another F1 title.

And household name Carrell made a surprise appearance ahead of kick-off to give his views on the state of the sport.

However, the comedian could not resist taking a light-hearted approach to proceedings.

And he left fans in hysterics with a quip about how close Sky Sports’ camera had zoomed into his face.

That’s before delivering a rib-tickling analysis of Formula One before claiming the upcoming Las Vegas GP will “have a different vibe.”

Carrell is known for spots in flicks like Anchorman, as well as the starring role in the US Office.

But some supporters reckoned his F1 appearance was as good as any of those – while also proving to be the most exciting thing about the Dutch GP.
