Fans stunned by Leandro Trossard 'WITCHCRAFT' as Arsenal star humiliates rival with 'insane' skill | The Sun

ARSENAL forward Leandro Trossard left fans in awe after producing a remarkable piece of skill while away on international duty.

The former Brighton star, 28, scored the final goal in his country's 5-0 win over Azerbaijan in their Euro 2024 qualifier on Sunday night.

It came after Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku bagged FOUR goals in the first half to put the game to bed.

Yet the viral moment of the match came when Trossard executed a sensational trick to evade a defender's challenge.

After getting to the ball ahead of the onrushing Azerbaijan player, the Arsenal man somehow scooped the ball up to avoid the tackle and then brought it down again with another swift bit of control.

It was an astonishing bit of skill that led to a huge reaction on social media.

And a fifth said: " We are lucky to have him at Arsenal!! What a player 🔥."

Trossard already has six goals and two assists in 14 games for Arsenal at the start of the new campaign.

Yet despite his impressive form, he has started just three Premier League games this season – along with three in the Champions League and one in the Carabao Cup.

Prior to the international break, he scored and assisted in the Gunners' 3-1 win over Burnley.

And Trossard will be hoping that display is enough to earn him a spot in Mikel Arteta's XI for their trip to Brentford on Saturday.
