Floyd Mayweather Jr. has announced he is entering talks about a rematch with Manny Pacquiao in Saudi Arabia.
The pair fought in 2015 in the most lucrative fight in the history of combat sports – raking in £470million in pay-per-view and gate receipts.
Mayweather won via a unanimous decision at Las Vegas' MGM Grand in a bout dubbed the “Fight Of The Century".
The superstar duo have discussed a rematch in the past but until now no real progress had been made.
In an Instagram post, Mayweather Jr. said: “I want to say thank you, it’s an honour to come to Saudi Arabia to sit down with you guys to talk about the Mayweather v Pacquiao rematch.
“Saudi Arabia, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, I’m on my way."
