She stayed on well over shorter latest and went close the last time she tackled this trip at York. This looks a good winning chance.
MOBADRA (6.50 Chelmsford, treble)
She has two wins and a second from her past three runs. She is back from a break but goes well fresh and is best over this distance.

MIDRARR has the staying power (3.40 Beverley).
She finished well over shorter at Newcastle last time and this longer trip should be ideal.
Patient Dream has been in fair nick over jumps and looks the main danger.
RED VERDON 3
IN the Red. Group 2 winner at best and has been running with little success in better races than this for a while. He sees out this two-mile trip well but didn’t fire in the Copper Horse Handicap at Royal Ascot before another flat run in the Northumberland Plate. This is easier but he needs his old spark.
JUST HUBERT 2
JUST no must. Very quirky stayer who often doesn’t want to start his races. Has talent when he fancies it as he showed when winning two good handicaps last season. Has struggled lately though and can’t be relied on despite the booking of Danny Tudhope taking the eye.
DASH OF SPICE 1
LACKING Dash. Has some decent form on the level around 1m4f but his form has dipped over jumps and he was well below par returning to the Flat at York last time. He’s back to just 1lb above his last winning mark but is hard to fancy at present.
PATIENT DREAM 4
DREAM on. Has been going close over jumps without winning and tries this sort of trip on the Flat for the first time. Is near his last winning mark so should be competitive having run well in a Stratford hurdle 14 days ago.
MIDRARR 5
RARR star. Stayed on strongly over an extended 1m4f when second at Newcastle 17 days ago so this longer distance should be ideal. She went close over it in good company at York last season and this looks a good chance.
SMART CHAMPION 2
NOT so Smart. Not won for a while and was well off the pace over this trip at Newcastle last time. Is coming down the weights, which helps, but he needs more.
