Jack Grealish pictured for first time behind the wheel since Man City star was banned for careless driving | The Sun

JACK GREALISH has been spotted driving for the first time since being slapped with a ban.

The Man City star was handed the punishment for careless driving in 2020 after crashing his Range Rover into a Mercedes and Citroen just six days into the March lockdown.

He was fined £82,000 and banned from driving for nine months.

But now he is driving once more and was seen arriving for training in his Range Rover on Friday morning.

Grealish is preparing for the Manchester derby against Man Utd this weekend as City look to keep pace with Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table.

And the England international's ability to drive once more will be one less thing to worry about following a difficult first 12 months at the Etihad.

Footage from the crash released by West Midlands Police shows the footballer running down the road before hopping into his Range Rover – immediately reversing into a Citroen Dispatch.

He is then seen swerving down the road before reversing – side-swiping a Mercedes AMG.

The football ace then drives his car just a few yards down the road before crashing into the kerb.

Moments later, he is seen with his head in his hands as he walks down the road, leaving the carnage in his mismatching slippers.

Barrister John Dye said the footballer, who admitted two charges of careless driving, was struck by "blind panic" and "tries to put everything right and makes it worse".

Grealish is now focused solely on matters on the pitch as he looks to re-find the form he showed at Aston Villa.

In City's final match before the international break, he scored his first goal of the season 55 seconds into a 3-0 win over Wolves.

Now he will be looking to have a significant impact in the Manchester derby on Sunday.
