Juventus will go all out to make under-fire Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarr their new manager because Ronaldo reportedly doesn’t want Conte

MAURIZIO SARRI is Juventus’ No1 target after cooling on Antonio Conte.

The Chelsea boss will now ask for a quick answer over his future at Stamford Bridge after emerging as a candidate for the Italian giants.

Ex-Blues boss Conte was the frontrunner for a return to Turin after three glittering seasons as a coach and a glory as a player.

But a move for the 49-year-old is now unlikely, with Sarri now in the frame and his future has been uncertain at Chelsea despite having two years left on his contract.

Juve megastar Cristiano Ronaldo is widely reported to be against a move for Conte, who is approaching a year out of football.

Sarri’s reputation, meanwhile, is still high despite failing to challenge for the title in his first season in England.

He has secured a top-four finish in the Premier League and guided the club to next week’s Europa League final.

Reports had claimed Juve had 'made contact' with Sarri after the exit of Max Allegri.

And it was being claimed that Derby boss and Blues legend Frank Lampard was to get the Stamford Bridge gig should Sarri be axed.

The Blues are expected to sack Maurizio Sarri this summer – even if he guides the club to Europa League glory with victory over Arsenal.

According to respected TV station Sport Mediaset, Lampard, 40, will return to manage his former club after his impressive spell with Derby.

Sarri, 60, has guided the club into the top four and led them to both the Carabao Cup and Europa League finals this season.

But Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is expected to get rid of him because he has a poor rapport with the fans.
