The Billabong Pipe Masters are currently underway on the North Shore of Oahu, providing some of the best surfing conditions for the last stop on the World Surf League's Men's Championship Tour.
As Gabriel Medina and Julian Wilson fight for the world title crown, it was 46-year-old veteran and all time great Kelly Slater who pulled off the must-see move of the competition so far.
In his Round 3 heat against Filipe Toledo on Sunday, Slater fell off his board while inside the barrel but managed to get back on and finish the ride.
The 11-time world champion was deep inside the tube when he fell off but managed to hang on and ride out of the barrel, pulling off an incredible escape trick.
