MANCHESTER CITY star Ilkay Gundogan and his wife have announced they are expecting a baby.
The German and partner Sara Arfaoui made the news public via their Instagram pages.
They captioned the post alongside a blue love heart: "Baby Gundo, we can't wait to meet you."
The snaps show the couple dressed in black while the midfielder cradles her bump.
They also shared a photo holding hands while he kissed his 27-year-old wife on the forehead.
Fans have congratulated them with one commenting on the upload saying: "So happy for you both."

One fan joked under Man City's official account's well wishes: "Sign him when he is born."
Gundogan, 32, is a fan favourite at the Etihad Stadium after winning four Premier League titles with the club.
However Sara recently caused controversy when she criticised the food in Manchester.
The Italian slammed the local restaurants suggesting there were no good places to eat out in the city and that she was fed up with “horrible frozen food”.

This created a slightly awkward moment when fans discovered that one restaurant in Manchester is owned by her husband's manager Pep Guardiola.
It led to the ex-Barcelona boss joking: "What I’m disappointed about is they’ve not been to my restaurant – that’s what annoys me.
“Gundo is not going to play one more minute this season."
But Sara could soon be put out her misery with Gundogan's contract set to expire at the end of this season.
Clubs such as Atletico Madrid, Galatasaray and Juventus have all been linked with signing him come the summer.
