MANCHESTER UNITED are facing another angry fan backlash.
That’s after having more than 600 tickets REMOVED by police for this month’s trip to Chelsea.
Supporters were already up in arms over the visit to Stamford Bridge after weeks of indecision over the date.
And it was only given a confirmed date three days ago, with kick-off at 5.30pm on October 22.
United’s allocation of 2,994 tickets went in a flash for the grudge match.
However, the Metropolitan Police declared they wanted that figure reduced to 1,500 due to policing concerns.

And after an appeal, United have now been given 2,370 – leaving them with 624 sold tickets which can’t be used.
The Athletic has since seen an email from the Red Devils offering incentives to fans in exchange for them cancelling their ticket.
Supporters have been offered either a guaranteed seat against Arsenal, Wolves, Fulham or Aston Villa – or a straight refund.
Should there no be enough takers, a lottery-style ballot will decide which unlucky fans stay at home.

The decision has prompted fury from fans, who had already been left in limbo for weeks over travel and accommodation bookings.
And the Manchester United Supporters Trust, who are considering legal action, admit they are struggling to see the logic.
A statement said: “We are consulting lawyers about a potential class action for interference with contract and also a judicial review for what looks like an irrational decision.”
Committee member Oli Winton added: “This sets a horrific precedent for all events, let alone football matches.
“Police should police a match and not the crowd size.
