MANCHESTER UNITED fans loved seeing a man named after an Old Trafford legend on a dating show.

The Singaporean stunned his date by revealing his unusual first name.


When introducing himself, he revealed that his name is "Solskjaer".

In the clip shared by Five, his confused date replied: "What?"

She then asked: "Where are you from?

To which he responded: "I am full Singaporean Chinese."

Solskjaer, named after Man Utd's 1999 Champions League final hero Ole Gunnar, then added: "But my parents were soccer fans."

Still none the wiser, his date asked: "Who was Solskjaer in soccer?"

He then explained: "Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He was a player but then he became a manager but then retired."

After the date, his date said he looked "pretty decent" in addition to being "tall" and a "nice guy".

One cheekily wrote: "Hopefully he scores."

While a second gushed: "His parents are legends."
