Man Utd stars 'growing weary' of Ten Hag's criticism with some believing manager has 'favourites' he refuses to dig out | The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED stars are "growing weary" of Erik ten Hag's continued criticism, according to reports.

The Red Devils boss once again blasted members of his squad after they conceded four goals against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

United have let in 14 goals in six games this season and Ten Hag was critical of how easy they gave away goals at the Allianz Arena.

And now there are reports of grumblings in the dressing room about the manager.

It comes days after we revealed that four Man Utd stars had a huge dressing room row after the home defeat to Brighton.

According to theManchester Evening News, discontent is growing among the squad as some stars feel Ten Hag has favourites he refuses to criticise,

Four Man Utd stars in furious dressing room bust-up after Brighton defeat

The report says dressing room sources claim Ten Hag has other players who "are routinely rounded on by the United manager".

There is also a feeling that certain players are given a greater amount of responsibility to carry out Ten Hag's tactics, to the point it is becoming a burden.

The report also claims some players are still seething over his treatment of David de Gea, who was released in the summer.

And there is now a tactical problem because Ten Hag's set-up has been wrecked by Antony's absence.

The Brazilian has been removed from training as police investigate allegations from three women of domestic abuse.

United's only other left-footed right winger, Mason Greenwood, joined Getafe on loan after the club reneged on plans to bring him back into the squad amid fan backlash.

After the Bayern defeat, Ten Hag slammed his side's defending, saying: "You have to look in the mirror because the goals were easy giveaways.

"We were in the first 25 minutes better in the game than Munich and then that goal, it was so easy and it was not only Andre.

"If you see how easy Sane is going through and that has to do with determination, you don't let players through so easy.

"That is the point – we have to cross the line as an individual and as a team to win games because it started there.

"That's what I mean, you have to suffer, sacrifice in situations, to give everything and to stop that and only when we get that in are we going to win games.

"The way Sane came through can't be. And the second goal; it's almost similar over the other side.

"How easy players come through our box and to finish, it can't be."

We reported earlier this week that captain Bruno Fernandes confronted fellow midfielder Scott McTominay after United slumped to an embarrassing home defeat to Brighton.

Centre-back pairing Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof also lost it with each other following a calamitous defensive display.
