Erik blames defeat on ref decisions
Angry Erik ten Hag claimed his Manchester United team were robbed by a series of dodgy decisions as they conceded two stoppage time goals to Arsenal.
The Dutchman was adamant that Declan Rice’s 96th minute goal should have been ruled and claimed an earlier Alejandro Garnacho effort was incorrectly ruled out for offside.
He moaned: “Everything went against us and many decisions definitely didn’t go our way.
“Let’s start with the Arsenal penalty which was given but then overturned. Everyone can see it’s a simulation by Havertz but he did not get booked for it.
“Then there was a foul on Rasmus Hojlund in the penalty area and I don’t think it was even noticed by VAR.
“Then there was the disallowed goal from Garnacho. I think they looked at it from the wrong angle because from what I could see it was onside.
“And then there is the crucial goal from Rice. How can they allow that? It’s a clear and obvious foul on Jonny Evans and otherwise he could have blocked the shot from Rice.
“So it’s a lot and because of that you don’t win the game.”

Mikel Arteta says Declan Rice was the coolest man in the Emirates when he scored his crucial stoppage time goal to set Arsenal pulses racing in the 3-1 defeat of Manchester United.
The £105million midfielder waited until the 96th minute to score his first goal for the club with a perfectly executed set-piece routine.

“When you look at how a holding midfielder needs to dominate his area and break up play he gelled the team together when they were a bit stretched. Then he produced that magic moment to win us that game.
“When you see the technical ability he has and how he executed that goal, I am sure he can add more goals.

Arsenal & Man Utd fixtures changed
Arsenal’s Premier League clash at Everton has been switched from Saturday September 16 to the following day.
Newcastle’s clash against Brentford has been moved forward a day due to their Champions League game against AC Milan on Tuesday September 19.
Toon were due to play the televised game on the 17th at 4:30pm.
But Arsenal will now play in that slot, with Eddie Howe’s side taking the Gunners’ tea-time Saturday kick-off.
Six matches in total have been moved by the Prem, with more to follow in the coming months due to Aston Villa‘s involvement in the Europa Conference League.
Villa’s visit to Chelsea has been moved to a day later on September 24 because they take on Legia Warsaw three days earlier.
Their involvement in Europe means Villa’s clash with Wolves has also been rescheduled to take place on Sunday – October 8.
Aston Villa vs Luton has also been switched to a Sunday and been allocated a 2pm kickoff.
Manchester United’s Champions League commitments also means they have had a change to their fixture list.
Sky Sports have picked their game against Sheffield United to be shown live on TV, but it can no longer take place on Sunday as the Red Devils face Copenhagen the following Tuesday. United will now face the Blades on Saturday October 21 at 8pm.

Arteta told Sky Sports: "I said to him yesterday, things are hard in the beginning.
"When I met my wife, in the beginning it was hard to conquer her and I had to try and keep messaging.

'Keane & Micah in heated argument with fan'
Shocking footage has showed the moment Manchester United legend Roy Keane and ex-City star Micah Richards got involved in a heated argument with a fan at the Emirates Stadium.
The pundits were part of Sky Sports' coverage for Arsenal's 3-1 win over United.
But Richards, 35, and Keane, 52, found themselves at the centre of an incident outside of their television duties.
Viral Twitter footage showed Richards, who was wearing a black backpack, angrily collaring a man who allegedly assaulted Keane.

However, the fan was prevented from inflicting serious physical damage on the Manchester United legend, according to MailOnline.
A man wearing a suit is then seen trying to separate the pair before Keane moves across while shouting something inaudible.
Keane and Richards were reported to have been making their way to carry out their post-match duties for Sky Sports.
The duo were eventually escorted down to pitch side were they were able to continue their broadcast with utmost professionalism.

'Dalot scared of Saka'
Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel claims Diogo Dalot was "scared" of Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka as the Red Devils lost 3-1 at the Emirates.
Saka provided an assist as two stoppage-time goals sent United to their second defeat in four Prem games.

“(Lisandro) Martinez shouldn’t be running towards what he is doing. He should be running towards where the error is. (Christian) Eriksen should be running back and covering for him. But he doesn’t. He runs the other way, Martinez and takes himself out of the game.
“I think Dalot looking a little bit scared of Saka.
"When defending, a lot of the time, it’s about putting fires out. You put one fire out and don’t think about the next one, until you have to put it out.”

Neville 'encouraged' by Rasmus debut
Gary Neville reckons Rasmus Hojlund had an "encouraging" Manchester United debut – but says comparisons with Erling Haaland are unfair.
Old Trafford legend Nev also believes the striker, who came on for the last 23 minutes of the 3-1 loss at Arsenal,needs more support.
The ex-England defender told Sky Sports: "Manchester United have not had a striker they can hit. Ronaldo was not a classic target man, Martial and Rashford certainly aren't, but it looks as though he will mess people about. The good thing is that he's still learning the game.
"He's only played a couple of seasons at top-level football, but people are expecting him to be an Erling Haaland for Manchester United. They don't have anyone with experience to help or back him up."
Neville added: "Martial. We have been watching him for eight or nine years now – and he's not what Ten Hag needs or wants. This lad [Hojlund], big price tag on him, it was an encouraging start."

Thomas Tuchel claims the exit of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool target Benjamin Pavard was "like losing two players".
Inter Milan beat a host of Prem giants to sign the versatile Bayern Munich defender last week.
And Bayern boss Tuchel was unhappy as he believes his rearguard is the one area where the German champions lack cover.

The 23-year-old England winger was told to stay at home by manager Erik ten Hag and didn’t even travel to London after coming on from the bench in United’s previous three games.

'Dock Arsenal points for cheesy choice'
Arsenal have been slammed for playing Vanilla Ice after their dramatic Premier League victory over Manchester United.
The Gunners beat United 3-1 at the Emirates thanks to a stunning comeback following Marcus Rashford's opener on 27 minutes.
The North Londoners' captain Martin Odegaard equalised just a minute later and Mikel Arteta's side sealed the win with two goals during stoppage time.
Arsenal's £104million record signing Declan Rice scored his first goal in the sixth minute before Gabriel Jesus secured the three points five minutes later.
However, the triumphing hosts picked a peculiar way to celebrate beating United as they played Vanilla Ice's cheesy hit song from the 90s Ice Ice Baby.
Of course, this song is now associated with a popular chant the fans sing to praise Rice.
However that wasn't enough to win over other supporters who were so put off they quipped a points deduction is in order, especially after the home crowd sang along.
One fan tweeted: "Arsenal need docking the points they’ve just won for playing Vanilla Ice and all their fans singing along to it."
Another commented: "That's not enough, Straight to the Hague." A third posted: "Arsenal should get docked points for playing Vanilla Ice there."

Fans on the Case over Rasmus
Manchester United fans loved the way Casemiro tried to fire up new signing Rasmus Hojlund, albeit to no avail as Arsenal won 3-1.
The striker finally made his long-awaited debut following his £72m move from Atalanta, coming off the bench as 67th minute substitute versus Arsenal.
Hojlund had only been on the pitch for seven minutes before Casemiro encouraged him in aggressive fashion.
Man Utd had a corner and the Brazilian midfielder approached his new team-mate, shaking him by grabbing and pulling his shirt.
Fans loved it, one said: "Casemiro pumping up Hojlund is my favourite moment of the match."
Another added: "Casemiro pulling Hojlund's shirt is gold. Absolutely love it."
A third reacted: "Casemiro giving that boost to Hojlund is a sight to behold."
Others compared the former Real Madrid star to Roy Keane with his act out of the ex-captain's "motivational playbook".

ANTONY – 6
The often-infuriating bleached blonde Brazilian put in far more defensive work than he gets credit for.
However it was hard to remember him completing a pass in the opposition half.
MARCUS RASHFORD – 7
The England star took his goal brilliantly in a first half.
However it would have been good to see him more involved in the general play.
Rashford also became a bit predictable in the opposition box as the game went on with his reluctance to do anything other than cut inside onto his right foot.
ANTHONY MARTIAL – 5
The Frenchman was very lucky to see out the transfer window still a Man Utd player, and he put in another insipid display at the Emirates.
Anonymous in the first half before seeing a chance to put the Red Devils ahead in the second comfortably saved by Ramsdale.

The ex-Real Madrid star was rushed like a pack of hyenas in the first half as he showed worrying signs of being unable to keep up with the pace.
Completely switched off for to allow Odegaard to cancel out Marcus Rashford's goal from kick-off.
On this evidence, Sofyan Amrabat can't come into the side soon enough.
CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN – 8
The cultured Danish midfielder was one of the star performers for Man Utd as he covered incredible ground to support the defence and attack.
Brilliant interception and masterful through ball to assist Rashford's goal.
BRUNO FERNANDES – 6
As quiet a first 45 minutes as you'll ever see from the Man Utd captain.
A bit more bite from the Portuguese star in the second half but overall one of his more forgettable displays.

Onana solidified his reputation as the anti-De Gea with another adventurous display with the ball at his feet. The Cameroonian made a brilliant save from Saka to keep the Red Devils level but it was all ultimately in vain.
AARON WAN-BISSAKA – 7
A typical Wan-Bissaka display. One of the best one-on-one defenders in the business but distribution not quite where it needs to be.
The right-back was rescued by VAR after a penalty decision that could have gone either way when Havertz went down in the box.
VICTOR LINDELOF – 6
The Swede looked like Bambi on Ice under the bouncing ball in a game he won't want to dwell on.
LISANDRO MARTINEZ – 7
Didn't put a foot wrong until just past the hour when he scythed down Nketiah to stop a counter-attack.
Picked up a booking, and what looks like an injury, in the process and was instantly subbed off.
DIOGO DALOT – 7
Playing at makeshift left-back, Dalot could have easily gone under with the pressure Saka was applying in the first half.
However, he adapted well to the challenge and was relatively untroubled after the first half an hour.

Evans 'n hell as fans lay into Jonny
Manchester United fans slammed Jonny Evans after his disastrous second club debut.
Evans and Harry Maguire came on at 1-1 before two stoppage-time goals gave Arsenal a 3-1 Emirates' win.
And fans had little confidence as soon as the duo were brought on.
One said: "Maguire and Evans partnership – hold me."
Another added: "We’re actually having Maguire and Jonny Evans as our CB against Arsenal."

RESULT: Arsenal 3-1 Man Utd
Declan Rice rewarded Arsenal's superiority and wealth of corners with a 97TH-MINUTE strike – before Gabriel Jesus made it 3-1 six minutes later.
Rice's effort appeared to deflect in off off United sub Jonny Evans.
Martin Odegaard had brilliantly and instantly cancelled out Marcus Rashford's 27th-minute opener.
Arsenal then had a penalty for a challenge on Kai Havertz overturned – before United sub Alejandro Garnacho saw his goal ruled out for offside.
Rice put the Gunners up and sub Jesus caught United out on the counter-attack.
