Premier League 2023/24 season start date confirmed with football schedule back to normal and winter break returning | The Sun

PREMIER LEAGUE chiefs have confirmed all the important dates for next season.

The 2023-24 campaign is set to return to normal after a chaotic campaign interrupted by the World Cup this time around.

Prem bosses have confirmed that next term will begin on August 12.

This date is 76 days after the final day of the 2022-23 campaign.

The final day will take place on Sunday, 19 May – with all matches going ahead simultaneously.

With the season not set to be interrupted by Covid-19 or the World Cup – the winter break will return.

Last year, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said: "Playing on the 26th and 28th, it's just not right. I just say that because it is true.
