IF FANS follow football to make them happy, they've picked the wrong game.
As every supporter up and down the country knows, while one's team can at times make you ecstatic, they very rarely meet the high expectations of those who watch them every week.
Year-by-year and game-by-game the mood around a club can change in a heartbeat.
But the data gurus from OLBG have now revealed which Premier League fanbase is the "happiest" right now.
Drawing data from how fans interact with their clubs on social media sites Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X, formerly known as Twitter, an overall "happiness" score out of 10 has been determined.
Starting at the bottom of the table, we find Crystal Palace with a score of just 2.3 out of 10.

Fans of the club want to see a better style of football than the one currently being played under Roy Hodgson, and while they are stable in the top flight for now one point from their last five is far from what fans expect.
Just above them, we have Everton with a score of 2.7 despite Sean Dyche guiding the club to a strong run of form.
The Toffees have been defined by a points deduction and fan fury towards the owners and board over their treading water state in recent years.
There is then a significant jump up to Sheffield United with 4.08, with the Blades' less-than-thrilling football and poor league form heavy contributors.

Chelsea and Tottenham rank 12th and 13th respectively with scores of 4.67 and 4.54, perhaps with both lamenting the poor recent form of both clubs.
Despite being in the relegation zone, Premier League newcomers Luton are more happy than they are not with a score of 5.59.
Arsenal then rank in sixth in the table with 5.66, coming in behind Liverpool with a score of 5.86.
Last season's Treble-winners Manchester City kickstart the top four with a score of 6.71.
Surprise Champions League chargers Aston Villa match their position in the real-life Premier League table with a score of 6.97.
Brighton rank second with a score of 7.11, with jubilant fans experiencing European football for the first time in the club's history.
