Robert Lewandowski looks RIPPED as wantaway Bayern Munich star shows off hench physique in training | The Sun

BAYERN MUNICH striker Robert Lewandowski looked considerably more muscular in training as he tries to force a move to Barcelona.

The 33-year-old has clearly been working out in the gym over the summer as he showed off his new physique.

Lewandowski returned to Bayern Munich training this week but he has no plans to stick around for the approaching season.

The wantaway centre-forward was accused of lacking '100 per cent' commitment in the club's practice sessions this pre-season and allegedly 'hardly speaks to teammates'.

German outlet Bild also claimed he looked uninterested and reported late to a meeting.

The Pole has expressed his desire to leave the Bundesliga champions a number of times this summer and amid the ongoing saga he has allegedly received death threats.

Yesterday, Barcelona put a £42million bid in for him, according to reports.

This comes soon after he and his wife met the Catalan giants' manager Xavi for dinner.

Lewandowski has just a year left on his contract and Bayern will be reluctant to lose him for free.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano provided an update on the deal saying: "Barca are confident but negotiations with Bayern are still needed. Work in progress."

Chelsea have been linked with a move for him and they could hijack the deal if Barca don't wrap things up soon.

Barca, despite financial problems, are looking to heavily bolster their their squad having already brought in Raphinha from Leeds for £55million.

And in Lewandowski, they are targeting a world-class striker who last season netted an incredible 50 goals in 46 matches in all competitions.

Bayern will seemingly only allow their star man to go if they have his replacement already lined up and shockingly the German giants believe they can prise Harry Kane away from Spurs.
