SHAKIRA has taken another brazen swipe at her ex Gerard Pique by showing her support for a Premier League giant on social media after footie fans remixed her Waka Waka hit.
The Colombian pop star took to Instagram to send her encouragement to Arsenal F.C. during a heated match against Bournemouth.
Fans of Arsenal adapted the singer's trilingual bop Waka Waka, featuring Freshlyground, which served as the official Fifa song for the 2010 World Cup.
Footie fans remixed the hot hit to craft a new chant for the team's latest signing, Kai Havertz, a former Chelsea forward.
The chant swept through the Vitality Stadium during Arsenal's epic 4-0 triumph over Bournemouth, earning Shakira's endorsement.
The 46-year-old took to Instagram to share a video on her story of the cheering and chanting fans while captioning the post "Go Arsenal!" – an apparent dig at her football star ex, Gerard Pique.

Based on the tune and lyrics to Waka Waka, the Havertz chant goes: "Tsamina mina, eh eh, Waka Waka, eh, eh, sixty million down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again".
It is yet to be seen whether the chant will stick around throughout the season, but it may become a regular feature at games.
In another display of interest in the football club, Shakira visited the Emirate Stadium for a fixture between Arsenal and Manchester United last month.
The Gunners, under the guidance of Mikel Arteta, faced off against the Red Devils in what was their fourth Premier League game for the season.

The tense game saw Alejandro Garnacho score a goal that was later disallowed, and Gabriel Jesus eventually sealed the deal for the Gunners with a goal in injury time at 90 + 11 minutes.
Shakira shared her experience at the Emirates Stadium on Instagram, showing fans the post-match victory celebrations alongside a heart-eyes emoji.
The singer has barely been able to stay out of the headlines with the constant jabs at her ex, a former Spanish World Cup winner.
On October 2, the stunning singer called herself "The Boss" in a horseback photo in a major swipe at Pique.
The star shared a snap of her music video for her latest track El Jefe, seemingly hitting back at the football ace.
She was also spotted on Instagram taking a thinly veiled swipe at her ex as she called him "empty" while sending fans wild with her sultry dance moves.
In the clip, she could be seen lip-syncing her song Copa Vacia while sporting a strappy orange tank top and skintight jeans.
The pair split last year after 12 years together after the footie star came under fire after it was alleged that he cheated on the singer and that she discovered his alleged affair thanks to a jar of strawberry jam.
The cheating claims have not been confirmed but it seems as though the footballer has plans to wed his new beau Clara Chia and is set to announce their engagement, according to Spanish media.
After dropping multiple diss tracks to Pique, Shakira also seems to be moving on, as she's already been rumoured to be linked to multiple A-listers.
Many have speculated that the Colombian star was dating F1 ace Lewis Hamilton, while others thought she and Hollywood icon Tom Cruise had grown close.
Hamilton and the singer were first spotted when Shakira attended the Miami Grand Prix, where they appeared to share an intimate dinner afterward.
Cruise, 60, was said to have been "flirting" with the Colombian-born singer before she became involved with Hamilton.
Later on in the summer, Shakira brushed off speculation about the potential "love triangle".
But although Shakira seems to be doing well following the messy split from Pique, she has recently come under criticism for a slew of actions that have left fans disappointed.
She got into hot water after she was spotted not doing anything when a security guard grabbed a fan by the neck who was trying to get close to her.
According to local reports, the incident occurred in the first week of October at a Miami hotel during Latin Music Week 2023.
Many viewers who saw the footage of the "assault" said she should have stepped in for the fan after questions were raised as to whether the security guard had overstepped his professional boundaries.
In recent days testimonies have also come forward about Shakira's behaviour in the workplace after a dancer, Jenni Garcia, said the singer didn't pay her for 12 performances.
"She took me out of my dressing room and I was topless. She also went into our bathroom because hers was broken and the security staff took us out.

"When she came out she didn't even thank us. I spoke to security to get them to let us in," she told YouTube channel La Saga.
But despite her claims, Garcia described Shakira as a "great artist" but said she has "lost respect" for her following her experiences.
