SIR JIM RATCLIFFE will invest £245MILLION into Manchester United's infrastructure as part of his 25 per cent takeover, according to reports.
The British billionaire, 71, will pledge the investment as part of his acquisition which is expected to be worth more than £1.25billion.
According to Sky News, the £245m investment on infrastructure will be staggered.
However, the "majority" of the sum will be given to the club by the end of the year.
This would appear positive news for many Man Utd fans as Old Trafford has been criticised for being left in an old, decaying state.
But many are still unimpressed by Ratcliffe's pledge as they do not believe the funds will address the widespread issues.

They also feel Ratcliffe will simply facilitate the Glazers – who are set to retain majority control of the club.
One said: "That money won’t even touch the sides.
"All he’s there to do is fill the pockets for Glazers and fund the club while the Glazers sit back and continue to take out there dividends."
Another added: "Man said 2 signings worth. This is a joke."

While a fourth responded: "Unbelievable @ManUtd what’s this meant to do? We need quadruple that at the very least.
"Absolute rats. Once this deal is over the line I’m gone."
Meanwhile, recent reports have claimed Man Utd need a "quicker resolution" to their ownership saga in order to clarify Erik ten Hag's position at the club.
The Red Devils boss, 53, has watched his side suffer back-to-back 3-0 defeats at home to Manchester City and Newcastle.
It takes Man Utd's record at the start of the season to eight losses in 15 games in all competitions.
And the Dutchman is coming under increasing pressure as rumours of his potential departure continue to swirl.
Rules around the bidding process mean it is currently difficult for the Glazers to consult Ratcliffe about Ten Hag's future.
