South Africa fan mortified as she hits Rugby World Cup captain's stunning Wag Rachel Kolisi in the head with a ball | The Sun

SIYA KOLISI looked shocked after his wife was hit in the head with a ball during South Africa's victory tour of Cape Town.

The Springboks were celebrating their Rugby World Cup triumph after beating New Zealand in the final in October.

During the celebrations, there was an unfortunate moment for captain Kolisi and his wife Rachel.

During the open-top bus tour, a fan attempted to throw a ball to the South African star.

However, the woman misjudged her throw, and instead of getting the ball to Kolisi, she instead hit Rachel in the head with the ball.

After seeing her blunder unfold in front of her eyes, the fan looked mortified.

Rachel had to sit down after suffering the blow as those around checked on her.

Kolisi himself looked shocked as he offered a hand to check that she was OK.

Rachel has since appeared to be in good spirits about the accident as she shared a clip on her Instagram story with a laughing emoji.

She also wrote: "You know when you trip in fall in public and you really hope no one saw it – it was a great throw."

A second added: "Nah. Siya's face makes this more funny."
