Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul – Betfair odds: Fury odds-on with Betfair to end Paul’s undefeated boxing record | The Sun

TOMMY FURY and Jake Paul will eventually meet in the ring this year with their hotly-anticipated bout just weeks away.

And Betfair reckon the odds are in the Love Island star's favour, pricing him odds-on at 4/5.

His price has drifted slightly since his points win in April over Daniel Bocianski.

However it didn't stop Fury giving a direct message to Paul live on TV after the fight.

He said: "If you want it, I'm here and I'm ready for you. I'll cut you and chop you to bits.

"That lad in there [Bocianski] would kill Jake Paul on the spot, that lad's a true professional. He'd slap Jake Paul.

"Jake Paul – I will end your career, you're a bum and you're no good. Let's get this fight done."

The two were scheduled to fight in December last year, but Fury pulled out due to injury and illness.

His record now stands at 8-0 after that latest win.

American social media personality Jake Paul also holds a 100% professional record, with a five wins out of five, four of which by knockout.

Betfair have him as the underdog going into the fight but is just 11/10 to get the win.

His most recent fight was in December 2021, when he knocked out Tyron Woodley, the mixed martial artist, defeating him for the second time.

Paul took to social media earlier this week to say Fury had again pulled out the fight, only for this to be denied be Fury himself.

Initially, Paul said: "Yet again I wake up to a text from my manager saying Tommy Fury is pulling out of the fight.

"We agreed to all of the terms, we're 45 days away from the fight. We agreed to his $2m purse, to VADA testing, to extra rooms, extra flights, extra tickets.

"We are scheduled to have a press conference in New York next week until now.

"What's the excuse? 'Because my dad can't be there with me.'

"Tommy your dad has been banned from the USA for 15 years, he's not allowed in.

"I will agree to not have my team with me, we can both fight solo."

Fury responded: "The fight is on. August 6th.

"Forget a team or any other bulls***. I don’t need anybody to help me lay you flat on that canvas.

"Oh and thanks for finally signing the drug testing… you only agreed to it when you realised the fight was at risk – who needs who."

Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: “With their long-awaited match being confirmed for August 6, Tommy Fury is odds-on at 4/5 to come out on top against Jake Paul, who is 5-0 in his boxing career.

"Meanwhile, Paul is 11/10 to cause a huge upset by beating Fury, brother of two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson. It is also odds-on at 4/7 for the fight not to go the distance in New York.”
