Towson basketball player throws down big dunk … into wrong basket

'Tis the season of giving.

During a game against La Salle on Saturday afternoon, Towson freshman Solomon Uyaelunmo took an inbounds pass from his teammate and threw down a two-handed dunk — into the wrong basket.

The 6-foot-7 forward received the out-of-bounds pass, took one dribble and scored easily, leaving his teammates shaking their heads in disbelief.

The basket was credited to Isaac Deas, who was the closest La Salle player when the ball fell through the net. Uyaelunmo's mistake gave the Explorers and early 15-12 lead in the first half.

Fortunately, Uyaelunmo, who entered the matchup averaging 4.7 points per game, has a long college career ahead of him, as long as he can keep his sense of direction.

However, Uyaelunmo and the Tigers fell short, 57-51, and dropped to 4-8 on the season.
