BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty cuts off MP as she grills him over Migrant crisis

BBC Breakfast turned heated when Naga Munchetty grilled an MP over the recent migrant crisis – and at one point she cut him off during the interview.

Friday's BBC Breakfast saw Naga and her co-star Charlie Stayt talk to travel minister Grant Shaps about the recent covid travel restrictions, but (November 26).

It comes after at least 27 people tragically lost their lives after drowning in the English Channel near Calais after their boat sank.

Starting off, Naga said: "We need to talk about what's happening with the relationship between the UK and France.

"We heard this morning that Boris Johnson issued this letter with five action points proposed to the French. There seems to be some disagreement on the French side…"

She proceeded to explain that the UK hasn't been invited to the meeting with other European countries such as Belgium, but the UK hasn't been invited as the relationship has broken down.

She asked him: "What's your reaction to that, how are you going to fix this?"
