Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) are in danger when Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) discovers they have been seeing each other behind his back in EastEnders spoilers.
With Suki deciding not to leave Walford after all, she races back to her house where Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) is waiting for her. Priya reveals she knows the truth and demands a huge amount of money in exchange for her silence.
Suki agrees and hands over stolen money from the call centre, but Nish catches them out. Priya lies and insists Suki took the money so that she and Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) could find their own flat after her and Nish’s kiss, but he refuses to let Suki hand over the money.
Later, Suki continues to scramble for the cash and takes funds out of the Minute Mart till.
But when Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) closes up, he informs Nish that the tills are £200 short. Nish investigates the CCTV but is horrified to discover footage of Suki and Eve kissing.
Livid with what he’s seen, Nish smashes up the shop. Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) manages to stop him, but Nish heads home full of anger and determined to discover the truth. Could someone’s life be in danger?
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) meets with Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) prior to his plea hearing and attempts to manipulate him by promising to restart their ‘relationship’ once he’s served time. But Stacey worries she may have made the situation worse as Theo reacts badly to her suggestion.
Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) discourages Stacey from attending the hearing. Martin Fowler (James Bye) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) support Stacey as she decides to go anyway – there’s an anxious wait ahead for Theo to give evidence.
Later, Jack comforts drunken Stacey after she tearfully confesses her fears about Theo and reveals that she planted the wrench to protect Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) and frame Theo.
Jack tells Stacey he’ll have to report her to his superiors, but she begs him to keep quiet. The pair have a heart-to-heart where Jack opens up about his own past, and he agrees to keep Stacey’s secret.
Also, Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) tries to heal the rift between Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) and Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley).
Keanu demands Karen hand over the ransom money back but the pair are interrupted by Mitch. Keanu makes a hasty exit, but Mitch demands the truth as Karen tearfully reveals all.
Mitch is disgusted to learn about Karen’s involvement in Albie’s ‘kidnapping’ and insists they must give the money back.
