BBC viewers were left fuming after a new celebrity host on a wildlife show "completely ruined it".
Comedian Lee Mack was drafted in to replace Bob Mortimer on the latest episode of Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing after the star came down with shingles.
But many were left questioning the BBC's choice when Lee revealed he is vegan and therefore does not fish.
Paul Whitehouse was geared up to show the newbie the ropes when Lee informed him that it was against his moral beliefs to fish.
He said: "This is the thing, this is what I was worried about doing when Bob asked me to come. I don't fish.
"And when I say I don't fish, I don't mean I can't fish, 'Teach me, grasshopper,' I don't mean that. I mean I won't fish because I'm a vegan."

When Paul asked if Bob was aware of this when he picked Lee as a replacement, he admitted he hadn't told Bob he was a vegan as he thought it would annoy the comic.
Lee got set up with a magnetic fishing rod dupe instead and the pair carried on with the show, but viewers were left less than impressed.
One wrote: "Sorry but Lee Mack on Gone Fishing didn't work for me, there was barely any fishing owing to LM being vegan and it wasn't funny.
"Should have just let Whitehouse and Ted do the episode on their own with Bob on Facetime."

Another loyal fan protested that the show should have simply gone on hiatus until Bob was well enough to come back in his role as host.
They wrote: "Turned off Gone Fishing. Lee Mack shouldn't have gone on if he is vegan and refuses to fish. He's just being annoying with his magnet 'fishing'.
"Would have rather they missed an episode to be honest than replace Bob. Get well soon Bob. We'll wait for you."
However, some watchers did see the funny side of the situation.
One took to social media saying: "Honestly, Lee Mack metal fishing was hilarious."
