As the iconic reality show Big Brother will soon be back on our screens, the brand new house appears to be taking shape as we take a first look at the colourful garden space and stage area where the contestants will enter and exit the show.
In new images of the reality show's London set, a huge stage can be seen from a bird's eye view where the contestants will enter the show, complete with the iconic eye-shaped structure for them to walk through.
Lighting rigs have also been installed, surrounding the outside area, and were being tested ahead of the hotly anticipated ITV launch show on October 8.
The images also give a sneak peek into what the new rooftop garden space will look like, with outdoor furniture in place and cameras to watch the housemate's every move.
Grass has also now been laid down on the rooftop garden, featuring colourful patterns and shapes covering the surrounding walls.
The set's perimeter looks as though there could be access to the canal close to the entrance ramp, suggesting that there's a possibility of contestants arriving – or leaving – by boat.
ITV has picked up the show for the brand new series after it was previously shown on Channel 4 and Channel 5. This will be the first time the show has aired in five years.
The news was announced on Monday, 25 September by ITV on Instagram, as they shared a snap of the iconic Big Brother eye, decorated in multicoloured patters, with the date underneath it.
The caption read: "Mark your calendars… Big Brother is coming. 8/10/2023 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX #BBUK @bbuk @ajodudu @iamwillbest."
Whilst the show was previously fronted by Davina McCall, it's back with brand new presenters in the form of AJ Odudu and Will Best.
Fans were thrilled at the news that the show is returning so soon, as they rushed to comment on the post. One said: "Omfg, I can't wait!!!," whilst another commented: "I can't wait. I love Big Brother I've missed it so much."
A third wrote: "IM SO EXCITED !!!!!!," as a fourth said: "I can’t wait . Missed this show so much."
ITV already have a jam packed reality schedule as they recently showed the hit series Love Island in the summer and usually show I'm A Celebrity in November and December.
