Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) finds herself stuck in the past in upcoming episodes of Emmerdale.
The character had her life destroyed after her affair with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) was revealed. As Paddy (Dominic Brunt) struggled with his mental health, Chas was left alone, forced to sit with the fact her happy marriage had come to an end because of her actions.

During Paddy’s recovery, he has made positive changes to his life. He moved out of the pub and asked Chas for a divorce, fully aware moving forward would change things for the better.
While Paddy has made progress, Chas has found herself clinging onto moments that have already happened and now, as a result of not living in the present, Chas is struggling.
Coming up, it’s the anniversary of Grace’s death and Chas wants to visit her grave, but finds herself getting frustrated when Eve insists on going to the swings instead.
Chas eventually gets to the church grounds and is joined by Paddy, where he reflects on how life has moved on.
Chas is quietly in torment, knowing that she can’t bring herself to let go.
Wanting some company, Chas wonders if Paddy would like to get a drink but he says no, explaining that he’s already made plans with Mandy (Lisa Riley).
Completely alone, will Chas find herself in trouble as she tries to find someone to turn to?
