Cat, 44, has been standing in for Lorraine Kelly, 61, on her self-titled chat show this week as the latter enjoys a break from her role over the Easter holidays. The So You Think You Can Dance? star has interviewed a whole plethora of guests this week and overseen different segments on the show, including talking with Mark Heyes, 44, about the latest fashion trends. However, during her last programme, the ITV fashion expert surprised Cat with a reunion as one of her long lost friends was drafted in as a model.
As soon as the model walked on-screen, Cat instantly knew who it was and it was clear she was excited to see the guest.
The presenter pressed pause on the fashion segment as she began speaking with Suzanne on the other end of the line.
“Suzanne and I used to be at school together…hello gorgeous. What is it, 25 years ago?” the presenter asked her friend.
“Yeah, 25 years,” the guest replied and Cat put her head in her hands as she squealed in disbelief over the reunion.
“She’s so beautiful,” the presenter told the fashion expert as she failed to remove her hands from her face before the segment continued.
Taking to Twitter, viewers expressed their joy at seeing Cat back on UK screens after living in the US for the past few years.
One fan wrote: “If I’d know Cat Deeley was hosting Lorraine this morning, I’d have watched from the start. She’s fab! #Lorraine.”
Another posted: “#catdeeley #Lorraine Great to see Cat Deeley on Lorraine this morning,” with a third commenting: “Cat is a keeper she’s great so natural and bubbly first thing in the morning #lorraine.”
“Loving Cat Deeley presenting #lorraine, I think she should be given her own show #catdeeley,” a fourth declared.

Speaking about taking on the role from the show’s regular host last week, Cat said: “Lorraine has kindly entrusted me with her show while she has a break over Easter.
“I’m so happy to be back at ITV for the coming week and looking forward to meeting some people I’ve wanted to interview for some time and also welcoming some old friends on air,” she told Mirror Online.
Watching her programme from home, Lorraine has reacted to seeing Cat sat in her chair and taking over her role.
Taking to Twitter, the television stalwart wrote in view of her 641,100 followers a response to a tweet her replacement had put out.

Lorraine was one of the many people to reply to the presenter and praised her efforts as she wrote: “Top job. A delight to watch.”
With the Easter holidays continuing next week, Good Morning Britain star Ranvir Singh, 43, is being brought in to oversee proceedings.
The latter first became an interim presenter on the show after her successful stint on Strictly Come Dancing last year.
Since then, Ranvir has hosted the show on several occasions whilst Lorraine took a step back from her duties.
Speaking to her in an interview on her show in December, the show’s regular host said to the journalist: “We are going to be swapping chairs.
“You’re going to be here which is fabulous, thank you. It’ll be great, you’ll be brilliant on this show, you’ll be fantastic.
“I’ll be at home with a cup of tea watching my Ranvir,” Lorraine added, to which Ranvir replied: “I better not mess it up.”
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
