Charlotte Crosby slams marine parks in powerful PETA Campaign with baby daughter Alba

Charlotte Crosby has criticised marine parks in a campaign with PETA, in which she was joined by her baby daughter Alba.

Charlotte, 33,who recently opened up about her plans for baby number two, posed for a photograph and spoke to the animal rights organisation about the reality of marine parks for the powerful campaign.

In the picture, Charlotte could be seen sporting a grey dress to evoke the image of a dolphin. Joined by baby Alba, the pair are shown as being separated from one another alongside the words “families are ripped apart” – making a statement about the experience of mammals at marine parks.

In an exclusive interview withPETA, Charlotte told the story of an orca called Morgan who had been made to perform tricks at a marine park. The orca later gave birth to a daughter, Ula, who sadly died at just two years old.

“The story of Morgan and Ula shatters my heart as a mam,” she said. “It’s actually devastating to even think about.”

The former Geordie Shore star, who recently got engaged to her boyfriend Jake Ankers, added that the animals had “no freedom” before encouraging others to “never visit a marine park”.

“Knowing what these animals go through … they have no freedom. They are deprived of everything,” she said. “They are living in the most awful, awful circumstances and conditions. It’s just cruelty to animals. That is all it is.”

She continued: “Never visit a marine park yourself.”

The campaign shoot is set to feature in an upcoming episode of Charlotte’s show, Charlotte in Sunderland.

The striking campaign comes after the TV personality spoke to OK! about becoming a mum to little Alba, who was born back in October 2022.

“Everything that everyone said [about parenthood] has been wrong in our case,” she said.

“People said, ‘Get your sleep now because you’ll never sleep again!’ But we sleep more now than we ever have in our lives. Alba started sleeping through the night at 12 weeks old and doesn’t wake up through the night. We have the most beautiful life.”

The star also touched on her plans to grow her brood, as well as her future with partner Jake. “I’d love to have another baby next year and then a year after that to get in the best possible physique ever – healthy and wedding ready. So I wouldn’t get married until 2026,” she said.
