Chloe Madeley makes family confession after marriage split from James Madeley

Chloe Madeley has made a shock confession concerning family plans in the wake of her split from her husband of five years, James Haskell.

The pair, who were recently the subject of their own ITV series, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair, confirmed they had gone their separate ways last month following weeks of speculation about their relationship. The pair initially set tongues wagging after they were snapped on separate nights out without their wedding rings, with James later pictured whispering into the ear of a PR executive outside a swanky London nightclub.

Chloe, who is the daughter of presenter couple Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, has now revealed on Instagram that she hopes to have more children in the future. The 36-year old gave birth to a daughter, Bodhi in 2022.

Asked if she would like to add to her offspring, Chloe told her 293,000 followers in a Q&A session: "Yea, I have a big family and I want to keep it that way!"

She continued, explaining that those plans are on the backburner in the immediate future, however, as she isn't ready to enter the dating game just yet. "I want to be and I will continue to be surrounded by females for the foreseeable," Chloe explained.

It followed a previous fan chat in which Chloe was asked whether there was a chance she could reunite with James, 38. Alongside a cute pic of her ex carrying Bodhi on his shoulders, Chloe penned: "James and I are not together anymore but we are determined to be the absolute best parents we can be to our amazing little girl."

The pair confirmed their break-up in a joint statement from the pair last month. "James and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023," it began. "We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time – certainly not while the television show was airing – but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.

"Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time. Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love."

Elsewhere in Chloe's Q&AS session, meanwhile, she revealed she "reckons" she would have "been a chef" had she not pursued a career in the health and fitness industry. She added that she trains every day from Monday to Friday, but weekends are "reserved for family and Bodhi time".

And asked what she has learned from becoming a mum, Chloe responded: "That my happiness is pivotal to her [Bodhi's] happiness and vice versa."
