Coronation Street fans convinced they've finally unmasked Maria's troll as Max is arrested | The Sun

CORONATION Street fans are convinced they know who Maria Connor’s troll is – and it’s not Max Turner.

During the latest edition of the the hit ITV programme, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) was left feeling unsettled after a Gazette article chronicling her work with refugees was left littered with a number of trolling comments.

Maria wasleft disheartened by the messages and explained to David Platg (Jack P. Shepherd) and Shona (Julia Goulding) that one troll, by the username of SadBoy55, had even given away the details of her place of work.

David had his own suspicions and called the policeon his son Max believing him to be the troll.

But fans at home were not convinced and took to Twiiter to air their thoughts.

One wrote: "Poor Max, I get the feeling he is not guilty this time but I could be wrong #corrie"

The finger was pointed at Max’s step-mum Shona a number of times.

One fan suggested: "Why do I think its Shona? She seemed to act very guilty a few times and very distracted in the cafe. #Corrie."

Another also agreed, adding: "Poor Max I don't think it's him. Maybe Shona.”

Other theories also claimed the refugee, Daryann, could be somehow connected.
