Cheating Courtney Vance (Stephanie Davis) and Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) are finally caught out in latest Coronation Street spoilers by none other than Aadi’s dad.
The two have been sneaking around having an affair behind Darren Vance’s (Ryan Early) back. They’ve already been seen by Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) who agreed to keep their secret – but wasn’t happy about it.
Having secured a business deal, Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) and Darren plan a celebratory lunch with the family. But soon, Darren confides in Dev revealing he and Courtney are having marriage problems and he suspects she’s having an affair.
Amy warns Aadi that Darren is onto them.
As the lunch gets underway, Dev reveals that Aadi’s got a new girlfriend, Darren, Courtney and Amy are all ears as he describes her as beautiful, funny and intelligent.
With Dev and Darren distracted, Aadi follows Courtney out where they share a kiss. Dev is gobsmacked to find his son in a passionate embrace with the boss’ wife.
Also on the cobbles, Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) and granddaughter Eliza Woodrow (Savannah Kunyo) argue over seeing her dad, Eliza dashes off and is hit by a car.
At the hospital, her dad Dom Everett (Darren Morfitt) arrives and Eliza reveals that she wants to live with him. Stu is having none of it and gets Eliza home. The next day Eliza doesn’t turn up at school and Stu finds her at Dom’s house.
A row breaks out and the police and social workers arrive to try to persuade Stu to let Eliza stay where she is for the moment. An upset Stu accidentally hits a police officer in the face and is arrested for assault.
Elsewhere, solicitor Joel Deering (Calum Lill) asks Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) if he could pick her brains about US law, but she doesn’t realise that he’s keen on her and gets her textbooks out.
Soon, Adam Barlow (Samuel Roberton) makes it his mission to play matchmaker. Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) is shocked when Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) reveals Shelly Rossington’s (Natalie Amber) laptop scam.
He heads to Shelly’s to sort things out, but trips and falls. As he cries out, he realises there’s no one around to help.
Also, Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) tells Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) that he needs to call Fiz Brown (Jennie McAlpine), tell her about Cassie Plummer’s (Claire Sweeney) relapse and how Hope found her, because if he doesn’t she will.
And Ed Bailey's (Trevor Michael Georges) late for a celebratory meal at Speed Daal with Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) and Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney), we wonder whether his gambling demons have got the better of him.
