Since setting foot on the cobbles in 2020, barmaid Daisy Midgeley has definitely become a Coronation Street favourite.

The brunette beauty, played by Charlotte Jordan, has been involved in several hard-hitting storylines in her three-year-stint.

So much so, that recently fans saw Daisy try to piece her life together again after finding herself targeted by stalker Justin.

And despite getting herself ready to walk down the aisle and say “I do” to Daniel Barlow in episodes this week, things are only going to get worse for Daisy.

But with her wealth of acting skills and stunning looks, many fans at home may be wondering if Charlotte is single.

While her on-screen turbulent love life is a tad hit and miss, it appears the same can't be said for her off-screen romance.

The actress is very happily in a relationship with her boyfriend and is no stranger to showing off their sweet relationship.

So as things take a turn for the worse for Daisy during her wedding in episodes this week, Daisy star is taking a deep dive into her relationship with her beau.

    Romantic getaways

Charlotte’s real-life beau is called Paul, and the two have been together for over three years – with the soap star introducing her man to her Instagram in 2019.

In June last year, the couple documented a holiday to Paris, where they visited several of the city’s most iconic spots, including The Louvre.

They also got the best look at New York City, after they headed l off on a helicopter ride around the Big Apple.

    Co-star beau

Although Paul isn’t an actor by trade, he has previously appeared in Coronation Street.

The soap siren enlisted the help of her real-life boyfriend for one episode, as he made a cameo while in the Rovers Return.

In the scene, Daisy tried to seduce Ryan Connor, and while it was filmed to look like she was grabbing Ryan’s thigh, but it was actually Paul’s.

This was down to the strict rules back in the pandemic, where shows had to use body doubles, replacing on-screen actors with stars real-life partners to film.

Speaking about how he got involved in some filming for the ITV soap, Charlotte told The Sun: "They roped my boyfriend in because we're shooting socially distanced. He's not an actor but he grew up watching Coronation Street.

“It was really fun just to see his little face when he looked at all the sets and stuff. It was very sweet. It was lovely."

    Dog ‘parents’

Charlotte and Paul’s relationship appears to be going from strength to strength.

As in 2020, the pair welcomed another addition to their family – an adorable dog called Olive.

In a sweet snap she shared in December 2020, Charlotte and Paul posed for the camera, while holding their pup.

In the caption, she wrote: “We've had Olive eleven months and eight days so as you can see I've been third wheeling for eleven months eight days.”

    Birthday celebrations

More recently, Charlotte’s beau celebrated a birthday – and the soap star went all out with the celebrations.

For his big day, Paul was greeted with plenty of jazzy balloons, birthday banners and a delicious cake that was definitely giving Instagram vibes.

Taking to her Instagram on March 13 Charlotte uploaded a slew of snaps from Paul’s celebrations.

In one snap, Charlotte posed up a storm for a mirror selfie, flashing her toned tummy in a cropped shirt.

Her boyfriend could be seen blowing out his candles in another sweet snap, while surrounded by his balloons.

    Spilling secrets to her in-laws

Charlotte’s attempt to win over Paul’s parents has seen her spill some of Corrie’s secrets to them – despite not being allowed to.

Speaking to The Sun, she gushed about how Paul’s family are big fans of the long-running soap.

“They’re always asking what’s coming and what’s going on and where a story is going. I know I’m not supposed to tell them, but I really want to be their favorite, so I’m doing it,” she admitted.

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV1 and ITVX at 8pm
