Dancing On Ice star Lou Sanders lived with huge TV star who won an Emmy – before he moved to LA and dated comedian | The Sun

DANCING On Ice star Lou Sanders used to live with a double Emmy-winning Ted Lasso actor.

The comedian shared a house in Edinburgh with none other than Brett Goldstein before he upped sticks to Hollywood.

Brett, who is now a big star Stateside and has a voice role in next year's Garfield movie, used to date fellow British comedian Beth Rylance.

The pair's year-long relationship came to an end last summer.

The 43-year-old co-wrote Apple TV+ phenomenon Ted Lesso, a feelgood drama about an inspirational US football coach improving the fortunes of a fictitious English side.

He won two Emmy's as Roy Kent, picking up the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for the show's first two seasons.

Inside the life of comedian and Dancing On Ice star Lou Sanders

Lou, 37, has spoken of her time living with Brett in previous interviews.

She joked that he wouldn't let her be a guest on his long-running Films to be Buried With podcast series for a very good reason.

She told the Portsmouth News: "I was living with Brett Goldstein in Edinburgh and he was doing his film podcast, but he wouldn't let me on it because I don't know anything about films."

He did eventually relent, and she appeared on his Christmas special in 2018.

Lou had no qualms about letting him on her Cuddle Club podcast, bestowing the honour of the 100th episode on him.

Earlier this week Lou was announced as a contestant on the latest series of Dancing On Ice.

She said of joining the programme: "I like physical adventure. That sounds rude.

“I’m nervous about cracking my head open, or just bashing the old head.  I can’t afford to lose any more brain cells.

"I’m also worried about my partner picking me up, he’s going to have to be very strong and very brave.”
