Doctor Who battles terrifying alien scorpions invading New York in Nikola Tesla episode – The Sun

DOCTOR Who will be back on screens next Sunday and this time is heading across the pond.

The trailer for episode four has dropped and we run through what we know so far about the next instalment.

1) Heading to the Big Apple

From the new trailer we can see that the famous Time Lord is going to the Big Apple.

We know that the gang will be heading to 1903 New York, where they'll get to meet maverick inventor Nikola Tesla himself.

However, a mysterious individual seems determined to shut down Tesla's generator plant at Niagara Falls.

The Doctor and her companions Yaz, Ryan and Graham must join forces with one of history's greatest minds to save both him and planet Earth.

2) Impressive special guests

There will be a blast from the past in the next episode.

ER favourite Goran Višnjić is playing Nikola Tesla.

The actor shot to fame in the 90s playing the handsome Dr Luka Kovac.

There are other guest appearances from Cold Feet and Hustle star Robert Glenister and Bodyguard's Anjli Mohindra.

3) A new alien in town

It wouldn't be Doctor Who without a new alien in town.

In episode four you'll meet some massive metallic scorpions.

See the trailer above to watch them in action.
