EastEnders fans spot major clue that proves who will be the killer this Christmas

EastEnders fans are convinced they have spotted a huge clue that proves Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) is the murderer at Christmas.

During Thursday's (November 30) tense trip to Walford, Suki packed her bag and was ready to flee with her lover Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) by her side. The businesswoman had finally mustered enough courage to escape from her husband's abusive grip once and for all.

Wanting a fresh start in life, Suki finally confirmed her true feelings for Eve as the pair decided on a future together away from Albert Square. But little did she know, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) had discovered CCTV footage of her kissing Eve in The Minute Mart exposing their affair.

The ex-convict took his wife's phone and sent Eve a message, luring her to Walford East restaurant. In a gripping showdown, Nish confronted Eve who stood up for herself and explained how Suki loved her and not him.

As Eve went to leave and meet Suki at the station, Nish lashed out and hit her around the head with a bottle of champagne. The twisted villain then called upon his son Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) to help dispose of Eve's body, except she wasn't dead.

Meanwhile, Suki waited at the station in hopes of Eve showing up. But as she gazed into the empty forecourt, the gates were pulled across the entrance signalling it had now closed.

EastEnders viewers are now predicting the image of Suki behind bars is foreseeing the future and she will go to prison for killing Nish.

Taking to X, one eagle-eyed fan of the BBC One soap wrote: "This shot actually made me gasp when I first saw it. The symbolism and everything it stands for is heart-breaking #EastEnders".

A second stated: "Why do I feel like the shot of the gates shutting on Suki is foreshadowing her going to prison for killing Nish #EastEnders.

A third chimed in with: "Foreshadowing with the Suki behind bars scene #eastenders", while another added: "Blimey – talk about showing Suki still trapped in the life she wants to be free from!"

EastEnders continues on Monday at 7:30pm on BBC One.
