EastEnders spin-off series Secrets From The Square kicked off this week with legends Kellie Bright and Danny Dyer, and the second episode will feature original cast members Letitia Dean and Adam Woodyatt.
Letitia and Adam — both of who have been part of the soap since its very first episode — chat to Stacey Dooley about all things EastEnders.
During the episode, they reflect on what it was like joining the serial drama as teenagers, while also reflecting on some iconic storylines — not to mention the legendary hair-dos — and share some interesting backstage gossip in the process.
They reminisce about being sent home from set on one particular occasion when they were giggling, as well as remembering their bid for Top Of The Pop’s glory — who could forget Somethin’ Outta Nothin’?
Additionally, Letitia gives her opinion on Sharon’s recent affair with Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), and both she and Adam tease what’s ahead for Sharon and Ian when the soap returns to air.
Viewers will know that Ian inadvertently had a part to play in the demise of Sharon’s beloved son Dennis Rickman (Bleu Landau), so it’s safe to assume that there will be conflict.
Adam also re-watches the scene that made him an internet meme, Letitia explains why a nailed-down coffin prodded her with a nasty surprise, and Stacey attempts to find out which cast member is most like their on-screen counterpart.
Finally, Stacey is given a VIP tour of the cafe by none other than Ian himself in Adam, who also dishes the dirt on which actor is responsible for the broken till.
A revelation worthy of its very own ‘Doof Doof’, no doubt!
One to watch: Monday 29 June at 8pm on BBC One.
