EastEnders spoilers: Kat Slater gets nasty shock as she prepares for engagement party with Phil Mitchell

KAT Slater gets a nasty shock as she prepares for her engagement party with Phil Mitchell tonight in EastEnders.

During Thursday night's instalment of the BBC soap, fans were left lost for words when the cleaner asked the mechanic to be her husband.

As viewers will know, Kat and Phil split up because he finally admitted that he was going to prison for being involved with Vincent Hubbard's murder.

However, he didn't tell her that he could stop it from happening if he becomes an informer for the police.

They've been living under Phil's roof despite not being a couple.

But on Tuesday Kat decided that enough was enough and told him that she was going to move out.

The cleaner explained to him that she thought it was unfair on her and the kids, pretending that everything was ok when he's going to go to prison.

She was left fuming when she found out that Phil had decided to keep the fact that he son Tommy Moon had been bullied from her.
