LOOK AHEAD: Corrie character ends up on the streets

Kelly Neelan ends up on the streets after being caught stealing Amy Barlow’s phone next week in Coronation Street.

The troubled teen – played by Millie Gibson in the ITV soap – recently returned to the Cobbles after being released from prison.

Kelly was behind bars for the brutal murder of Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni).

However, Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) was recently found guilty of the crime.

Since returning to Weatherfield, Kelly hasn’t had the easiest of rides as the Street have been less than welcoming towards her.

She’s been accused of damaging the corner shop, and now things are about to get a whole lot worse.

In an episode due to air next week, Kelly thinks that she’s got away with stealing Amy’s (Elle Mulvaney) phone until it goes off in her bag.

Her foster dad Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) is left fuming and tells her to get out of the house.

    Dealer Deol (continued)

His character, Kheerat, is well-loved by viewers, and their love of him is reflected in him recently winning the Best TV Character sections at the 2021 Asian Media Awards in October this year.

While at the award ceremony, he said:

“To hear your name being called in a room full of people you admire and respect is an experience in and of itself.

“It’s surreal, emotional and overwhelming. In particular this one because it comes from MY community.

“To be embraced by such an audience and hearing those who came up to me afterwards share their feelings of connection to Kheerat Singh Panesar almost had me in tears.”

    Dealer Deol

FROM Walford to wallpapering, EastEnders actor Jaz Deol likes to keep himself busy when he is away from Albert Square.

Fans will know Jaz, 32, as Kheerat Panesar in the BBC show who joined the show in 2019 as a businessman and the eldest brother in the Panesar family, the first Sikh family on the show.

But after launching JHD Homes on Instagram back in February 2021, Jaz works as a property investor when his filming schedule isn't too gruelling.

Sharing images of some of his recent projects, he is focusing on properties in South Wales at the moment, and his bio reads: "Passion for creating homes and building long term wealth."

Fans were initally worried that he would potentially be leaving the soap, but it appears that Jaz just likes to pack out his scheduled and explore other passions.

Commenting under one image on his property account, the actor and businessman on and off-screen said: "There's no question that market right now is incredibly hot. You could argue the many reasons why but the bottom line is that finding good deals is harder than ever.

"How do you know what is a good deal or a bad deal? That's entirely up to you. Key thing is to know your critieria, your why and your level of comfort with risk."

    World away from Watford

Eastenders actress Kate Robbins has revealed her stunning colourful pad away from her on-screen life in Walford.

The Sun was first to reveal the actress' latest telly role as music producer Jen Glover on the BBC soap.

Yet away from Albert Square, the stage and screen star, 62, hunkers down in a beautifully sophisticated pad with a lounge adorned with wooden floorboards and a pastel-pink sofa.

A grey settee also sits in the same room, which is given a modern boost courtesy of a chest of drawers with a jazzy zig-zag engraving.

The telly favourite often documents her Celebrity Juice star daughter, Emily Atack, and her talent director sister Martha spending time at the property.

How long has Adam Woodyatt been in Eastenders?

The 52-year-old debuted in EastEnders' first-ever episode in 1985 and has since become the soap's longest-serving cast member.

For his role as Ian Beale, Adam has portrayed everything from loan shark to property tycoon, been married four times and has won five British Soap Awards..

Despite appearing in over 2,000 episodes, Adam revealed he hates getting a famous “duff, duff, duff” moment on the show because he has to stand "like a lemon".

  • [email protected]

    What is Adam Woodyatt's networth?

As the show's longest-serving cast member, Adam rightfully is also one of the soap's highest earners.

In July 2017, his salary was leaked by Piers Morgan who tweeted: "BBC SALARIES (Soaps) Highest paid actor: Adam Woodyatt & Danny Dyer: £200k-£249k."

Despite being an Albert Square resident for more than 30 years, Adam doesn't assume his contract will be renewed and it's always a surprise when he's awarded a new deal.

The actor also earns a nice little side-gig away from the day job, acting on the panto circuit for years for which he reportedly earns around £130,000 a production.

It was reported in November 2021, that Woodyatt splashed out on a new 100k camper van.

You would probably think he could spare his ex-wife a bob or two.

    Beale's wheels

Adam Woodyatt is set to infuriate his estranged wife further after buying a brand new camper van for nearly £100,000.

The actor — soon to join I’m a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here — splashed out on the Carthago motor home last week

Wife Beverley, 56, is said to be struggling financially and surviving on hand-outs from loved ones since they split last summer after 22 years.

She was furious after he signed a six-figure deal with ITV to appear on I’m a Celeb, which starts next Sunday.

Adam, 53, made the pricey purchase from a showroom in Lincoln. The Sun understands he traded in his old vehicle.

The star — who has played Ian Beale in the BBC soap since 1985 — has been living in a motor home while touring with a theatre production.

    Poor taste

Hollyoaks bosses are facing a furious backlash from viewers after using a song by Marilyn Manson at the start of an episode about character Maxine Minniver being kidnapped and trafficked – despite a string of serious allegations against hm.

On Thursday night fans tuned into the E4 first look show to follow a horrific storyline that sees lovable Maxine, played by Nikki Sanderson, fall victim to Fergus Collins' evil plans and held captive by his gang of crooks.

In the opening scene Marilyn Manson's 1999 hit The Beautiful People is played – raising more than a few eyebrows from fans.

In July this year a fourth sexual assault case was brought against the star with model Ashley Morgan Smithline alleging she was subjected to rape, sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment by Manson.

Manson strongly denies the claims against him.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Not Hollyoaks having Marilyn Manson Beautiful People playing during a the peak of a f****** human trafficking storyline…. Tone deaf."

    Lights, camera, panic

EMMERDALE favourite Anna Nightingale has revealed she suffered crippling panic attacks on the set of the ITV soap after struggling to juggle her workload with motherhood.

The 30-year-old — known to millions of the show’s fans as Andrea Tate — told how she had to be consoled by fellow cast members after one attack left her in tears, saying: “It was like a nightmare.”

Asked about filming high-pressure scenes  while pregnant, Anna said: “When you film scenes like that the cast, the crew, everybody, is being pushed.

"And they are pushing themselves too, because they want the work they are doing to be good.

“When you’re filming special episodes people are tired and people are emotional, because they are working so hard.

Emmerdale stars may not be back until next year following on-set bust up

Matthew Wolfenden and Isabel Hodgins may not be back on our TV screens until January, show sources say.

The pair – who play David Metcalfe and Victoria Sugden – have not appeared on the soap since October 28 following an on-set row among cast members in which they were involved.

We exclusively reported on the bust-up last week.

The actors have been absent from the set while bosses made enquiries into the incident – although they have both now returned to filming.

Their unexpected absence was explained on screen on Thursday, when it was revealed that their characters had travelled to Portugal to visit Diane Sugden in her new home.

    Making a mess

Soap fans have been left seething that both Coronation Street and Emmerdale were cancelled AGAIN.

ITV viewers experienced yet another schedule shake-up as bosses ditch their favourites to air a World Cup 2022 qualifier game.

Instead of the latest action from the cobbles and the Dales, England played San Marino.

Those who were less than pleased about Corrie and Emmerdale being ditched for the football, raced to air their views on Twitter.

One complained: "Bloody football AGAIN tonight! So no #emmerdale".

Before joking: "Right. Well we'll have to do our own episode then".

Where have I seen her before (continued)?

If you're also a fan of fellow ITV soap Coronation Street, you may remember her taking on the role of another receptionist.

This time the actress welcomed guests at The Victoria – a hotel local to the cobbles – in February 2016.

Yemisi has also had roles in Doctors, Casualty and ITV's Bancroft.

It's not yet known whether her character on Emmerdale is set to be a regular as Nate starts to deal with the fall out from his sleep over.

Nate's lie that he was at Billy and Ellis' place that night is soon uncovered when Billy slips up.

And despite Nate's insistence that he didn't cheat, Tracy finds it hard to believe him.

Where have I seen her before?

EMMERDALE has welcomed another actress to its growing list of talented castmembers – but the newbie playing Fiona has appeared on the soap before.

Yemisi Oyinloye has caused havoc on the show, after her character caught the eye of Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter).

On a boozy night out, Nate starts to chat to Fiona, before heading back to her place – despite his partner Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) waiting for him at home.

Tracy is actually pulling out all the stops in her quest to add spice to their romance after Faith suggests she plan an intimate evening.

Tracy attempts to lure him home by sending him a sexy selfie, but at the same time Nate breaks his mobile while he's busy chatting up Fiona.

But avid Emmerdale viewers may recall seeing Yemisi back in July 2018, when she appeared as a receptionist at Abbott Lane Surgery.

    Pretty in pink

Coronation Street star Ellie Leach looked worlds apart from her on-screen character in a glam snap shared to Instagram.

The 20-year-old actress dazzled in pink as she celebrated a pal's 21st birthday at the weekend.

In the photo, Ellie has ditched her troubled Weatherfield alter ego's comfortable style for something much too chic for the cobbles.

Perched on the edge of a grey sofa, the beauty is showing off her enviable legs in the tiny satin dress.

With long sleeves and a plunging neckline, the hot pink outfit perfectly compliments her enviable tan, with Ellie accessorising with a pair of strappy heels.

Her brunette hair is styled into sleek waves tumbling over one shoulder, with Ellie also showing off a stunning make-up transformation as she smiles for the camera.

Corrie exclusive: Nina's reaction to Roy leaving for good

Coronation Street's Nina Lucas blames herself as Roy Cropper quits Weatherfield for good, Mollie Gallagher has revealed.

It's been a tough few months for the two characters in the ITV soap, with Nina struggling with the death of her boyfriend Seb Franklin, and the subsequent trial of his attackers Corey and Kelly.

Now actress Mollie has revealed all about how Nina reacts to the latest situation, telling The Sun's TV Mag: "Nina has all these horrible ideas of what is happening after she keeps hearing a number of things about Roy.

"At first she is very confused but then she thinks that this must be it, that he is going to end his life and she is distraught.

"When she finally finds Roy and he tells her he is leaving Weatherfield because he can’t look Sam in the eye, she blames herself for everything that has happened again because she feels like she is always linked to the bad things that are happening on the street in some way.

    Corrie star's cancer fight

Coronation Street star Victoria Ekanoye will have a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

The 39-year-old, who played Angie Appleton from 2017 until 2019, says she is determined to beat the disease for her baby son.

She’s now preparing to undergo preventative measures after her shock diagnosis.

Doctors hope Victoria won’t need any other treatment, but there’s a risk she’ll be kept in hospital over Christmas.

Victoria – who will have reconstructive surgery at the same time – told OK! magazine: “I just want to get it done and get up off the floor and start living my life.

“But it’s scary as I know there are risks with surgery and I’ve got my little boy.

“I want to make sure I’m here for him.”

Explained: Where are Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson?

LAST night, this year's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! line up was finally confirmed by ITV.

The 10 stars, including Richard Madeley and Frankie Bridge, dressed in the trademark castle uniform as they posed for their official photos for the ITV series.

However, there was one big question on everybody's lips; where are Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson?

The Sun exclusively revealed earlier this year that I'm A Celeb bosses had secured not one but two soap legends for the upcoming series.

And while they haven't yet posed in their own red bodywarmer and hat, we can confirm that they are still part of the line-up.

The two men will join the castle as late arrivals next week after the series has already kicked off – which is sure to secure some early iconic moments as they will no doubt need to take part in a Bushtucker Trial as part of their entrance.

Don't you know who I am?

Corrie bosses are facing a backlash after the soap’s stars were asked to help flog products for tiny fees.

Producers have signed placement deals with the likes of Costa Coffee, Co-op and EE.

A Costa shop opened on the cobbles three years ago, while hoardings advertising a new branch of phone firm EE in Weatherfield appeared in the summer.

But further collaborations with the brands sees ITV chiefs expecting the cast to promote companies by incorporating branded snacks and drinks into scenes and getting actors to pose with them.

Some are being offered just £100 a month to effectively give endorsements in front of millions of viewers.

A source said: “It’s an absolute joke — it’s insulting.

“Bosses are raking in tens of thousands for deals while they are getting the off-cuts.

“Some can command much bigger fees to promote products away from the show.”

    Who are Adam Woodyatt's children?

Adam Woodyatt had two children with his ex-wife, Jessica Jade and Samuel James.

Their son Sam actually appeared in the EastEnders episode in which Ian Beale was arrested.

He played the police officer who was seen putting handcuffs on him.

In 2016, Sam suffered a serious injury after an accident that saw him hit by a car.

Just months later, he defied the odds and made a recovery in order to run the London marathon alongside dad Adam.

    Left high and dry

The Sun exclusively revealed that Adam Woodyatt Beverley was devastated when Adam left the family home after 22 years together without warning.

A source said at the time: "Bev has kept a dignified silence for the sake of the children but this isn’t the amicable split that’s being portrayed.

"Adam walked out on Bev nearly a year ago without explanation. She didn't even know where he'd gone.

"She's only seen Adam once since he left and she's no idea why he walked out on her. He’s shown her no respect at all.

"The media briefings all seem to be about protecting Adam's reputation and that of EastEnders. Bev's obviously hugely upset about the way she's been treated."

    Helping from beyond the grave

National treasure Babs, who died of Alzheimer’s at age 83 last December, left cash to good causes, relatives — and her on-screen sister as well as £4.6 million for husband Scott Mitchell.

Babs also left £5,000 to sister-in-law Marsha Alexander and her husband Laurence, plus £2,000 each to cousins Leslie Larsen and Julie Elliot.

The rest of her £4.63million estate went to third husband Scott, 58, who she married in 2000.

The Sun revealed in March that he inherited the company she used for her TV pay, worth nearly £1million.

Babs also left £1,000 each to seven charities — the NSPCC, Breast Cancer Care, Help The Aged, showbiz organisation Grand Order Of Lady Ratlings, National Osteoporisis Society, Headley Court wounded soldiers rehab centre and Age UK.

Eastenders star hailed for tribute to the deaf community

IT has been hailed as the television moment of the year – and a triumph for the deaf community.

Strictly viewers were moved to tears as Rose Ayling-Ellis, 26, and pro partner Giovanni Pernice danced in silence on Saturday night during their Couple’s Choice routine, which scored 39 out of 40.

Now campaigners hope it could lead to greater equality for disabled people — as well as better under-standing of deafness.

Former Strictly contestant and Invictus Games medallist JJ Chal-mers said EastEnders star Rose’s dance would help “get us to where we want to be” with regards to attitudes around disability”.

Speaking yesterday, ex-Royal Marine JJ, 34, said: “We are making massive inroads to where we need to be in society and within broadcast, and that is wonderful. People like Rose will get us where we want to be.”

He added that it’s “nice to see people talking about her disability, yes, but also being able to look beyond it”.

Inside EastEnders star Milly Zero’s life

EASTENDERS fans are used to seeing star Milly Zero in the role of the scheming Dotty Cotton.

The young actress' life is a world away from life on Albert Square, with glam nights out and a famous rapper boyfriend – not to mention her lookalike mum.

Milly, 22, joined the cast as Dot Branning's granddaughter in 2019, replacing Molly Conlin who had previously played the role as a child.

And it's not the first time the Peckham-born star had been on TV either.

A former BRIT school student, Milly graduated in 2017 with trio of A-Levels in English Literature, Dance, Music and Theatre.

But the budding star actually made her television debut when she was 13 in CBBC's All At Sea.

When her role on EastEnders was announced, Milly gushed: "I am honestly so excited to be playing Dotty Cotton and joining the E20 family, especially playing alongside June Brown, who I have been watching on my telly since I was a young girl.

“Her and Dotty have such an interesting relationship to explore with a complicated history, so I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. It all feels very surreal and I am buzzing already."
