Emmerdale fans have vented their frustrations after Mackenzie Boyd changed his mind once again about who he wants to be with.

Ever since Mack's (Lawrence Robb) one-night stand with Chloe (Jessie Elland) was revealed, he has been in two minds about who he wants to be with. Despite choosing the save Charity (Emma Atkins) in the car crash, Mack insisted Chloe was the person he wanted to be with.

During Monday's episode (November 14), Charity prepared to head to Scotland for a few days to spend time with her daughter, Debbie. When Mack discovered Charity's plans – believing she was moving to Scotland for good – he laid down in front of her car to prevent her from leaving.

Realising her move wasn't permanent, Mack had no choice but to confess his true feelings to his ex-wife. "I don’t want to feel like this Charity but there’s nothing I can do," he told her.

"I love you and I’m so sorry I’ve put you through this. I know it’s a lot. What if I was to break up with Chloe? What if I was to leave Chloe, come back to you and we’d have a proper clean break? I want to be with you Charity and I’ll wait for as long as I have to."

Although it appears Mack has finally made his choice, it didn't sit well with fans, who demanded the character be killed off. One wrote: "When are they gonna kill off Mack."

A second added: "Could it get anymore ridiculous with this story of Charity and Mack? God I’ve never hated a character more in my entire life. Please kill Mack soon." Another demanded: "Kill off Mack."

A fourth chipped in: "Mack is pathetic. Is this love triangle s*** really going into next year?" While someone else fumed: "Who's writing this drivel? Of course she doesn't love you Mack. She never goes the course and when Vanessa comes back she'll dump you and I can't wait."

When Chloe discovers that Mack wants to be with Charity, she plans the ultimate revenge. Next week, when she spots the reunited couple kissing, she sees red and slaps Charity.

Fuelled by anger Chloe admits her revenge plan to Amy, revealing she’s going to run away with Reuben to France and stop Mack from ever seeing his son again.
