Kim (played by Claire King) has been distracted recently as it seems the Emmerdale vixen’s health has become a cause of concern, prompting her to put her business dealings to the back of her mind. Mandy (Lisa Riley) has also been struggling in recent weeks following the death of her partner Paul Ashdale (Reece Hinsdale), who she discovered was an abuser and a gambling addict. With the deceased leaving Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) with increasing amounts of debt having fraudulently used her identity, the ITV soap favourite will come up with a plan to get her hands on some cash. However, if Kim takes her recent health woes out on Mandy, the ruthless businesswoman could end up regretting her actions.
In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, the actress who plays Mandy, Lisa, 44, explained her character could end up in a feud with Kim.
The soap star said: “Mandy is not frightened by anybody. She is probably one of the most fearless in the village.
“She would take on anyone and she is the epitome of girl power…Mandy was girl power way before the Spice Girls.
“[Imagine] Kim comes in [to the salon] to get her brows laminated and Mandy ends up getting rid of all of them.
“So Kim leaves with no eyebrows. That would be funny, wouldn’t it?” the actress commented but could this rivalry be woven into the character’s current storyline?
Next week, as Kim’s health issues continue to puzzle her loved ones, Mandy will be turning to a life of crime to get her hands on some money.
Her plan will formulate when she begins to go through Paul’s possessions as Lydia visits the bank to try and convince them she has been a victim of identity fraud.
With her partner’s funeral to pay for as well as his debts, Mandy calls on her cousin Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) for help.
Instead of giving her family member the money, Charity tells her cousin she will buy her beauty salon from her.
Mandy is not frightened by anybody
However, the salon is Mandy’s pride and joy so she turns to troublesome Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) for some help.
Overhearing him having a conversation with Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and with her son Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) descending into the world of gambling, Mandy thinks she has found a solution to her problems.
Taking on a threatening approach, the beloved character tells Mackenzie she will report him to the police for his fraudulent behaviour if he doesn’t give her a cut of the profits.
Knowing he hasn’t got a way out of this, the troublemaker agrees to let his blackmailer in on his criminal plan.

Unfortunately, Mandy proves to be more of a hindrance than providing any sort of help and it seems she could be looking at finding another source of money.
This is where Kim could come in as her loved ones convince her to go and enjoy a pamper session at the salon to take her mind off her recent health woes.
With Mandy’s mind on anything but giving her customers the best service, she could end up messing up the businesswoman’s treatments.
Leading to a war of words, the two women could swear to get revenge on each other for the horrendous outcome of what was supposed to be a relaxing day.
Knowing she needs cash quickly and that Kim has lots of money, Mandy could plan to rob her rival’s residence; Home Farm.
Having ruined Mackenzie’s deal, the beloved character might get him in on the plan to make up for her wrongdoing.
However, they could be caught in the act as the ruthless businesswoman decides to stay at home more to try and get her health back on track.
Instead of confronting Mandy, the village vixen could let the thieves run out of her house and leave the authorities to deal with them.
Mandy would realise Kim was behind her arrest and if she were to evade any charges by some miracle, she could declare war on her rival.
Might this be the beginning of a fresh new feud in the village as the two businesswomen go head-to-head?
It seems viewers are keen to see a relationship of some kind form between the characters as one fan wrote on Twitter: “If it wasn’t for Kim and Mandy I would have stopped watching a long time ago! #Emmerdale.”
Another posted: “I’d have loved to see an #Emmerdale lockdown episode where Mandy Dingle and Kim Tate were accidentally locked down together and just spent half an hour drinking champagne and sl*****g everyone off.”
Emmerdale continues Monday at 7pm on ITV.
