Emmerdale's Cathy Hope finally gets the news she's been waiting for when she receives an official diagnosis.
The teenager, played by Gabrielle Dowling, has been struggling in recent months after battling heavy periods and severe mood swings.
Upon a visit to the doctor back in March, Cathy discovered she was experiencing symptoms of Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), however Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) couldn't promise it was this.

Struggling with her mental health, Cathy left the village to go and stay with her half-brother Scott in the Lake District.
In upcoming episodes, there's relief all round when Cathy is officially diagnosed with PMDD.
But the youngster is left feeling disappointed when she discovers her treatment is to manage her symptoms, instead of there being an outright cure.
Back at the B&B, an upset and volatile Cathy blindsides Bob when she defiantly insists she wants to find a cure to stop her PMDD symptoms.
Despite the best efforts of Bob (Tony Audenshaw), Wendy (Susan Cookson) and Bernice (Samantha Giles), Cathy is unrelenting in her desire to cure her PMDD.
Later, anger overtakes Cathy and she launches a garden ornament through a B&B window, narrowly missing Manpreet.
When Wendy tries intervene, Cathy takes her anger out on her and shoves her to the ground.
As Bob runs to help, he feels a twinge in his chest before Manpreet checks him over, worried due to his recent heart attack.
