Emmerdale: Victoria tells Jacob it has to be ‘over’
Since rekindling their romance, Emmerdale’s Victoria Sugden (played by Isabel Hodgins) and Jacob Gallagher (Joe Warren Plant) have decided to keep their relationship a secret. However, official spoilers reveal that’s all going to change.
In scenes set to air next week, ITV viewers will see Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) have an awkward conversation with Jacob and believes his affections are directed towards her. The next day, she airs her fears to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) after admiring their relationship.
Determined to set him straight, Gabby decides she’ll confront Jacob. Although the penny drops that he wasn’t actually talking about her.
When she realises the truth that Jacob and Victoria are an item, she’s left astounded. As the truth has now started to come out, the duo decide it’s time to tell their family about the new relationship.
Not sure how to break the news, they decide to meet with Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) first. Although they’re unaware that Gail Loman (Rachael Gill-Davis) is eavesdropping on the whole conversation.

As they tell Eric and Leyla about their romance, they awkwardly admit Jacob’s adoptive father and Victoria’s ex-partner David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) knew about the whole thing.
Not wanting to keep any more secrets, they confess to being part of the reason he decided to leave the village.
Now that the truth is out, will their family be able to accept them as a new item? Or will they unapprove of their couple status like David?
At the end of last month, fans watched as David found it increasingly harder to be around them both.

In the end, he decided to move from the village and head to London to be with his daughter Amba (Ava Jayasinghe).
However, before his exit, Jacob tried to make amends one last time as he headed to the shop to say goodbye.
Although it was clear David no longer wanted anything to do with him as he told Jacob to no longer call him dad.
In an emotional departure, fans last saw David driving out of the village for a new life in London.
Actor Matthew Wolfenden has been part of the ITV soap for nearly 20 years and has covered some harrowing storylines in his time on the show.
Speaking about his exit on This Morning earlier this year, he said: “The door is left open, they’re not killing me off I’ve been promised. I’m allowed to tell you that.”
“So, who knows, I might be back but we’ll see.”
Emmerdale continues weeknights on ITV from 7:30pm.
