Craig Revel Horwood had plan to retire at 50
Earlier this month, Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood opened up about his plans to quit the BBC series.
And while nothing has been confirmed, experts and the bookmakers have been sharing their thoughts on the judge’s replacement.
According to a survey carried out by Betfair Casino, 14 percent of people would love to see former Strictly star Kevin Clifton taking a seat on the judging panel.
Following close behind Kevin is his girlfriend Stacey Dooley, who won the BBC series in 2018.
However, 27 percent of people who took the survey would prefer it if no one replaced Craig when he left.

Another name in the running is Rose Ayling-Ellis and her former Strictly partner Giovanni Pernice.
Receiving the least amount of votes though, was Gorka Marquez, who had seven percent of the vote.
It wouldn’t be an unusual move for a former Strictly dancer to take a seat on the judging panel.
For the past two years, Anton du Beke has joined Craig, Shirley Ballas, and Motsi Mabuse as a judge.

In a new interview, Craig, who has been a staple on Strictly since 2004, admitted he was ready to “hang up his dancing shoes”.
The fierce judge admitted he “wants to enjoy life” when he turns 60, which is in two years’ time.
When discussing his retirement plans, Craig shared: “I’m working hard while I can, especially as I love what I do. It keeps me on my toes, darlings!
“I’m now the same age as the late, great Len Goodman was when he first started – that’s scary, isn’t it?!”
He added to Best Magazine: “The reason I look forward to it every year is because the cast changes.
“I think that’s what’s fun about it, it doesn’t age. And this year’s line-up is fab-u-lous!”
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 6.15pm on BBC One.
