EASTENDERS has been turned into a winter wonderland as it films its explosive Christmas scenes including the culmination of the hotly-anticipated The Six plot.
New pictures show that Albert Square has truly been made over to celebrate the holidays in full swing.
But there is also another surprise nestled within the iconic Walford set – Ian Beale's brand new business.
Paying homage to the East End and the delicacy of jellied eels, Ian appears to be operating a new EEL shop called 'Beale's Eels'.
Albert Square's garden looked perfectly preened as it adorned by an abundance of classic fairy lights in order to make it sparkle well into the night.
Taking centre stage is the iconic EastEnders Christmas tree, which once again takes pride of place on the set of the BBC soap.

During a flash forward episode in February, the show's heavily promoted 'The Six' storyline kickstarted which saw six fierce Walford women all implicated in a mystery death.
In the scene, set in the Queen Vic on Christmas Day, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) was wearing a wedding dress as a man’s dead body lay on the ground.

During new scenes on the soap, viewers claim that the way Ravi spoke to Denise could be foreshadowing his death.
