GAME of Thrones star Lena Headey has received tremendous support from fans and co-stars after announcing a painful injury.
The star has revealed they've been faced with six weeks of recovery after sustaining a severe leg injury.
Lena Headey, who rose to fame after playing the stone-cold, heartless Cersei Lannister for 8 Seasons in the HBO magical fantasy drama, is no stranger to fake, gory wounds, but the star is now faced with a real-life injury and will have to take it easy.
The busy Game of Thrones star only updates her 3.6 million Instagram followers about her everyday life if it's essential.
She recently disclosed to her followers that she is facing weeks of convalescing after wounding her leg, but did not state the reason behind the injury.
In an Instagram post, the 49-year-old took a picture of her lower legs placed on top of a chair with a pink bandage on her right foot and a pair of crotches placed closely near her bare left foot, with her toes painted pink.

Expressing her frustration to the world, she penned: "F**k. 6 weeks. One Birk only."
Former Game of Thrones cast mate Nathalie Emmanuel replied: "Oh nooooo! Hope you have a speedy recovery!"
Thor star Jaimie Alexander followed it with: "Oh no!!!! Sending you healing vibes. I'm so sorry."
Fans also gathered in her comment section to wish her a speedy recovery whilst giving her suggestions on how she could spend her time with only one foot available.

One person suggested: "6 weeks, you could watch GOT from seasons 1-8 to pass the time."
Referencing one of Cersei's most memorable scenes in the show, a second person wrote: "No walk of shame for you."
A third person complimented her nail colour and wished her well: "At least your toes are super cute! Speedy healing!"
A fourth person quizzed: "WTF? Hope it's not too painful, much love."
A fifth followed it with: "I hope you get better soon. I'm sorry you've injured your foot."
In a separate but similar Instagram post made days before the leg injury update, Lena posted a picture of her toned legs propped up on a chair.
She wore white socks with burgundy and dark blue circular stripes with sandals, with no cast in sight.
Lena captioned the post: "Half Calf."
