GEMMA Collins has played down her romance with Rami Hawash and said the pair are “just having some fun”.
She opened up about their rekindled relationship during an exclusive chat with The Sun.
Gemma, who has become a hugely successful businesswoman since leaving Towie in 2015, was pictured hugging and cosying up to Rami over dinner earlier this month.
The pair were engaged to be married in 2013 but split a year later.
Despite a brief reconciliation in 2017, where Gemma put back on her engagement ring, they decided they were better off as pals and both went their separate ways.,
Now Gemma, 40, and Rami, 45, are back on and have enjoyed a string of dates but Gemma warned fans not to get their hopes up.
She said: “Me and Rami is nothing serious. He is a lovely guy and I am just having some fun.
“We’re not properly dating, we’re not getting married.
We’re just friends and we occasionally go out for dinner. It isn’t serious, it’s fun.
“I’ve had a tough time in the past and Rami has been a great support.
“We have a great time together and that’s all there is to it.”
Gemma struck up her close friendship with Rami again earlier this year following her split from James “Arg” Argent.
The reality star turned business woman has enjoyed a stellar year so far.
Along with signing another mega money deal with the BBC for her hugely popular podcast, Gemma is preparing to launch her own fitness empire.
Inspired by her own three stone weight loss, Gemma will be putting out a subscription app in the summer to help others on their fitness journeys.
