Gaz Beadle is reportedly planning to make an explosive return to Geordie Shore, six years after he quit the show and swapped stardom for a quiet family life.
His return to TV comes following Gaz's split from wife Emma McVey, with whom he shares son Chester and daughter Primrose.
He shared the news of his split on Instagram after a fan asked if he and Emma were still in a relationship, as Gaz said: "No we actually separated about 3 weeks ago we are still friends there is no bad blood or anything.
"We have worked out the best way of doing it for the kids which for me and Emma is always gunna be the most important thing. We both deserve to be happy as well as being parents."
And it seems that following the breakdown of his marriage, Gaz could be making his return to Geordie Shore, with a source telling The Sun: "For a long time, Gaz felt like he was done with Geordie Shore – he even snubbed the show's big reunion series last year, despite various attempts by the cast to get in touch with him.
"In recent years, he just wanted to live a quiet family life outside of the spotlight, but after the recent breakdown of his marriage, he's been doing a lot of thinking and feels ready to rediscover the old Gaz and go back to the show that made him a star."
It comes after the departure of Gaz's ex-girlfriend, and original castmember, Charlotte Crosby, with the insider explaining: "The show knows that the loss of Charlotte is a big blow, and to keep things fresh and exciting going forward, they set their heart on bringing Gaz back into the fold when filming restarts next year."
OK! has contacted representatives for Gaz Beadle and MTV for comment.
Following his recent split, Gaz has revealed that he's moved out of his and Emma's million-pound mega mansion and is now back living with his mum as he looks for another property.
The former couple were together for three years before getting engaged in 2019, later tying the knot in July 2021 in a special ceremony in Cheshire.
Throughout their relationship, Gaz has regularly supported his wife through her medical issues, as Emma was rushed to hospital to undergo a major heart surgery nearly a year ago.
The brunette beauty was told that doctors would have to fix "three holes in her heart and tricuspid valve" – the valve that controls the flow of blood between the right atrium and the right ventricle.
