Gogglebox: Stephen discusses his weight loss with Daniel
Gogglebox stars Stephen Webb and Daniel Lustig-Webb have decided to quit the hit Channel 4 show.
The husband duo released a statement speaking about their departure on social media along with the broadcaster touching on their decision.
Show creators Studio Lambert and Channel 4 said: “After a brilliant and illustrious time on Gogglebox, Stephen and Daniel have decided that now is the right time to explore life beyond the sofa and leave the show.
“As one of the original Goggleboxers, Stephen has entertained the nation with his hilarious quips since the show first started in 2013, sharing his opinions on the best and biggest TV events of the last ten years.
“We would like to thank him and Daniel for being utterly brilliant contributors to the show, and we wish them well with their future projects.”

On Thursday afternoon, Daniel and Stephen released a small video to thank Gogglebox fans for all their love and support throughout the years.
Stephen said on Instagram: “It really has meant a lot, we wanted to do this video to say thank you to you guys.”
“It’s been an absolute ride and an absolute pleasure.”
During the clip, they confirmed they won’t be seen for the upcoming series which airs this Friday on Channel 4 at 9pm.

Fans have seen Stephen be a part of the Gogglebox family from the start when he originally was joined by his old best friend Chris Butland-Steed.
When Chris left the show in 2018, viewers were thrilled when Stephen remained in the cast alongside his mum Pat.
Although his husband Daniel joined him in 2020 and remained on the show with Stephen.
It wasn’t long before people took to social media to share their thoughts on the duo leaving.
